Delicious food. Absolutely love their southwest chicken egg rolls and giant carrot cake! Now I never liked carrot cake until I took a chance and had it from here! This is the best egg roll I ever had! The waitress was very nice and Craig was a very nice and charismatic man. I love coming here. But only wish they still had the guacamole and made a few more chicken options. Will be coming back again.

The food and drinks (I had) were pretty good. The service… very slow. One person at the bar making all drinks ordered… understandable if short staffed. The way they run this place. HORRIBLE!

“Diamond in the rough,” and “hidden gem” come to mind when describing this establishment. This restaurant has a vibrant, country bar atmosphere with an elevated dining experience. The food is incredible – not “bar food.” There’s live country music, line dancing, axe throwing, bull riding, fun cocktails, western-chic decor, and constant creative events advertised on social media. You’d typically have to go to Boston to get this kind of experience, but Whiskey Rocks is right in our backyard, and with plenty of free parking. Our server was Spencer, and he was professional, knowledgeable, and attentive, not to mention an all-around fun presence for our girls’ night out. The GM, Sophia came to our table and introduced herself. It’s clear she takes extreme pride in the restaurant (and rightly so!). Shane was our bartender. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and even made us special Valentine’s Day cocktails that weren’t on the menu. The entire evening was such a treat and I can not recommend this place enough. Treat yourself!

Great food, great cocktails and really friendly servers. The owner/chef came out to check on our meal! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a tasty meal and some creative bourbon drinks. Get the pork my peach – bacon infused bourbon!

I always love the food and the vibe here. The bourbon cowboy steak tips are delicious. Good place to go out with friends or for a date night. Staff is always friendly and quick to answer any questions about new items on menu and make accommodations due to dietary restrictions 🙂

Lots of negative reviews for a while after this place opened up. Teething pains most likely. Also, it’s a very different kind of place for the area, so there’s that to consider. I see that reviews are starting to trend higher and that is good. We went recently and did just fine. But make no mistake about it… this is a very expensive place to spend a night out. If you are seeking cheap eats and cheap booze, this is 100% not your place. I would guess that mistaken expectations are a large part of the negative reviews we see. Anyway, we did just fine, but we didn’t hit the place on its busiest night (Saturdays) and really just went to try the food, which we found to be hot and excellent. No problems with wait time and staff treated us perfectly. This would be a 5-star “frequent flyer” place for us except for the very high cost… hence the 4-star rating.

Driving by the area and noticed a sign “whiskey rocks” caught our attention and had to stop and see what it was all about. To our surprise it was a beautiful bar/dinner/fun place to be. The interior designing was exquisite, the food and drinks were unique and very good It was a quiet evening but HUGE bar, bull riding and ax throwing options while you dine or have drinks. Usually they will have Live Music on the weekends but because of Mother’s Day weekend nothing scheduled. It was still a good place to stop by.

Sophia was AWESOME! I had a Buffalo Trace Old Fashioned! The flavor was incredible. We ordered the egg rolls as an appetizer – delicious! I had the Shepard’s Pie – amazing! My husband had the perfectly prepared tips with a side of jalapeño cheddar Mac & cheese – legendary! Took home a bunch of leftovers. Music, atmosphere, cocktails, and food all as desired. Can’t wait to come back!
