After hearing many positive reviews, we were excited to finally visit Mexico Lindo Mexican restaurant in Liberty lake near Yokes supermarket. The place is small, with a strip mall entrance and feel inside but they seem to be trying to make it as nice as possible. We arrived just before noon on a Sunday and the restaurant was nearly full. Of course it was consequently very loud and there were lots of children present running around so not the best atmosphere but not really the fault of the restaurant either. By the time we were seated there was a line of people waiting to get in. The service was pleasant but lacking attention to detail and slow to respond to requests. Did not receive a refill on chips or salsa and our meals took considerably long to arrive after ordering. While we understand this is a normal consequence of a busy restaurant, it would have been nice to experience the restaurant the way many seem to have by receiving good individual attention and meals delivered quickly and efficiently. We had read that the portions were large here, but we actually found our plates to only be three-quarters full whereas in most Mexican restaurants an entire large plate is covered…not sure about that. We would agree with several other reviews on here that mention the food being too sweet and not spicy enough. Both of our dishes were decidedly sweet tasting like we’ve never tasted before.

Have been here three times prior to this and it has been absolutely amazing every time. This is authentic Mexican and Its the best in the northwest. The service is so nice and welcoming. The place is very clean. They are very efficient. It never takes long to get your dish. We will be back and can’t wait to try something new.

I ordered the chicken tortilla soup, I’ve never had it green. The color and lack of flavor is one thing but what in the heck type of pressed and formed meat it this? Stringy and wants to make me gag just looking at it. The beef tacos have the same pressed and formed texture.

10/10: loved everything! Chips were crispy and not too salty, salsa was perfection, margarita was excellent. My husband had the carne asada burrito and I had the enchiladas al a crema. So delicious! We will be back!

It’s hard to give this place a bad rating because the people are God-loving, incredibly nice people but….the crunchy chicken taco was good and the chili Relleno was good but the sauce was too sweet. The shrimp a la diabla was not spicey enough and way too sweet. Beans were almost flavorless and had no fat or seasoning in them at all. They said they were out of their hot salsa? Clean and friendly.
