This was my first time and we will definitely be back! First time diners get free beignets. The food was excellent. The atmosphere was great- the music was classic R&B and some gospel during Sunday brunch/lunch. It was definitely busy, but we only had about a 15-20 minute wait at noon. The cinnamon roll French toast and shrimp and grits were perfect.

I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak Benedict, and it came with brown gravy(sweet taste). I didn’t like it one bit! I’m from Louisiana, and that gravy was the absolute worst thing ever! My husband had the Crab Cake Benedict. The seasonings, batter, and execution were horrid! They could’ve looked up a recipe on the internet! My kids’ food came out amazing! We should have gotten something simple!

This was the first and only time that my food was not exceptional. We ordered many times through GrubHub and ubereats and even with it cold it’s been good. I was surprised that the version of eggs Benedict I got, the shrimp Benedict. Was really not that warm and neither were the potatoes. which was surprising since the restaurant had almost nobody eating in. Well I would not order that entree again, I certainly wouldn’t say that they was prepared poorly, just wasn’t warm. Def wouldn’t order it again. The drink menu looked amazing so if it wasn’t first thing in the morning on a weekday I probably would have capitalized on that. Want to say what a sweetheart our waitress was, it’s really nice to find out a little backstory and it’s nice when they’re personable. Also, the booth seats desperately needed a facelift. They noticed I had noticed all the peeling and they remarked that there was someone coming in to fix that in the next day or two. Love to see a place CARE!

Good, about what you expect from a breakfast a grade above Dennys. I had the apple French toast. Pretty good. Hubby had the eggs Benedict, the hollandaise sauce was just ok. Decent kid’s menu. It was really busy. All in all it was ok I won’t be back unless someone else says “hey let’s go to Another Broken Egg” and I’ll say “ok”

Amazing food! Excellent service (Loretta W)! Prices are good & food portions are large. Parking can be difficult but there are more spaces in the back. Manager & greeter were very kind & helpful to us when a “KAREN” called the police bc our dogs were in a closed, locked & running air conditioned car! (We checked on them through out our time inside). We had them with us because we were displaced by a fire. The greeter offered to watch our car at our next visit when we have the dogs. We will return!
