I was in Bend on a Sunday afternoon and noticed this fun restaurant. I’m glad I popped in. I tried the chicken kara’age and it was incredibly delicious. The food, service and drinks were all great. I’ll be back, for sure.

Came here while visiting Bend and had a great experience! “The Fu” was exceptional. We loved the ambiance and enjoyed sitting upstairs, eye level with the top shelf spirits on the ceiling height bar (bartenders climb a rolling ladder). Our server was great and offered to only charge me happy hour price for my drink when it came without the advertised tajin rim (it did have some cute flowers). Their kimchi was also delicious! If I lived here, I’d go to Chomp Chomp all the time.

We spent our honeymoon in Bend and went to a few restaurants. Chomp Chomp was by far the best one!

I don’t say this lightly, but it might be the best vegetarian ramen I have ever had. It’s so hard to find a veggie friendly ramen but their chomp ramen with the veggie broth and tofu, is to die for. We also ordered their house made mochi, which was a fun and unique treat. Beyond that our service was excellent. Can’t wait to come back.

Really enjoyed our dinner. We wanted to try dishes Unique to the restaurant since we eat Japanese all the time and have been bored for so long. Had to try their chomp fuu hiroshima fuu and was glad I did. The favorite of the night was the appetizer of chomp house cheese dip which I wish I could get the recipe to and make at home it was so good that I would actually make cheese dip at home for friends and family if I could impress them with this. My partner was a fan of the almighty gyudon. The cocktail menu at the restaurant was different than the one online so I can’t post which we had but they were delicious. Staff was ultra friendly. It was the end of the night and the restaurant wasn’t full so it was loud inside so they were happy to let us eat outside even though they were starting to break down the patio area on the sidewalk.

Service was great but unfortunately the food does not match. The Hiroshima noodle dish is decent but tiny and a ripoff for what you get at $20+. Same story for the ramen. Sticky wings are the only food we got and can recommend

The food was just OK. I can’t believe how expensive the braised short ribs are given the small size- about 4oz of meat. That was probably the best thing we ate. The service was atrocious. They’re more worried about talking with each other and being on their phones then actually giving service to paying guests. I also saw the bartender, who was also our server, monkey finger four dirty glasses and then stick her fingers in the glasses to fish out the used fruit and straws. She didn’t even wash her hands but immediately started making drinks and touching fruit with her dirty hands We won’t be back nor will be recommend them.

Got the crab ragoons, spicy ramen, and teriyaki steak. The ragoons were good but only getting 3 for $10 wasn’t really worth it. My boyfriends steak was cooked really well and was tasty but he wasn’t disappointed with the portion and only getting fries. My ramen was like warm and the flavor wasn’t there. Beer was cold though overall wasn’t that impressed and wouldn’t recommend.
