Charged me for an extra piece of chicken I DIDN’T order then forgot my coleslaw. Didn’t want to give my money for untouched product & never received product asian guy really bad attitude. I understand why he works in fast food. Wouldn’t go here if I was paid to again. It should be a website to sue these companies for the stuff they get away with, people’s hard earned money for bad service & no listening skills.

This is as close to the taste of Southern fried chicken as I’ve found in MN. Prices are on the higher side for fast food, but it’s worth it in my estimation. My favorite thing to order is the 3 piece wing meal. It isn’t on the menu, but they will give it to you if you ask for it. The dinner room was closed when I was there. The drive through window was open, and curbside pickup was open. The employee I spoke with didn’t know if the dinner room was close temporarily or permanently.

First time at popeyes. Last time at popeyes. Kind of scary looking. There are signs ripped off, light fixtures missing and landscape rocks all over the parking lot. That’s just on the outside. I’d hate to see what the inside looks like! The building looked abandoned. If not for pre-ordering/paying for the food I would have just drove off. So we get the order home and of course there’s $12 of food missing! No surprise there considering no one in the entire establishment spoke clear english. As for the food we did receive it was mixed reviews for my family. A couple of us like dryer meats so it worked out for us. The rest weren’t really thrilled. Never got a chance to try the fries or chicken strips because those were two of the things missing from our order. The chicken itself was okay, the potatoes nothing special and the coleslaw was just okay as well. The biscuits were dried out and even though I liked them no one else did. Like with most advertising don’t expect the food to look anything like the pictures. I could forgive them messing up my order because most fast food restaurants are no different but man, you people need to do something with the property. If your kitchen is maintained anything like the property then there has to be some health concerns happening in there. Keep my 12 bucks you ripped me off and hire a good manager!

The drive through was hell, they didnt have any chicken tenders ready had to wait 5-6 min for fresh ones AND THEY WERE COLD AND SOGGY WHEN WE GOT HOME ! mind you we like 5 min down the road in north st paul ! then our strawberry biscuts didnt have ANY ICING on them ! when asked for a discount they didnt provide it so whatever manager was working 7/9/23 did not successfully execute his job correctly. I will not be going back to this location ! Get your stuff together ! And do better !

Worst popeyes in the area. Go to a different location if you want your order to be right and have better customer service. They got my order wrong many times, I finally try to call to speak to someone about getting free coupons because of my wrong orders. It’s annoying getting home finding out your order was wrong. They have the easiest job in the world to press buttons and slap a bun on a sandwich and they can’t do that right. I tried to call and no answer and they just put the phone off the hook to avoid incoming calls. Awful I would never go here again.

I went during lunch today and the line in the Drive-Thru went very fast, my order was taken quickly, I got “the sandwich” (spicy) and it was hot and tasted great and so where the french fries. I have never had any complaints here at the Maplewood location. Love the Popeyes Spicy sandwich… also the creamy coleslaw is excellent.

Although Popeyes has been there for a few years, decided to finally give it a try. Ordered the Cajun Flounder Sandwich Large Combo w/ fries, 2pcs Spicy Signature Chicken meal w/ coleslaw, 3pcs Chocolate Beignet, and a Spicy Chicken Sandwich. I felt disappointed with the food. There was hardly any tartar sauce in the fish sandwich and it had a really strong fish taste. The fries were great! The chicken sandwich wasn’t moisture and soft like I’d imagined; a tad dry. The beignet are very tiny; would be better with no chocolate IMO. The 2pcs chicken is decent, but the biscuit is bland and hard. Coleslaw tastes like it’s missing something; needs more salt or something. I would still choose KFC over Popeyes. And I would get McDonald’s fish sandwich over Popeyes’ fish sandwich. Overall, Popeyes is okay. The workers are kind and polite. They also got the order together in a good amount of time for drive thru. I wouldn’t be going there any time soon. Their chicken sandwich isn’t something to fight over, like in the past news.

The spicy chicken sandwiches are actually really good which is more than some places can say. I also love the red beans and rice and always have. I wish we had one a little closer but it’s worth the drive.
