This is such a beautiful and special spot with an incredibly welcoming vibe, and delicious fresh options. The baked goods are beautiful with variety and home baked touches, and the smoothies and teas are refreshing and a perfect accompaniment to the other offerings.

Absolutely perfect! My two favorite cuisines mixed together! The staff is super friendly and personable. Very clean and plenty of seating. The food was fresh, delicious and great cost to portion ratio. I would highly recommend and will be going back next time I’m in town!

Headed to Alexandria, VA and we came upon this gem of a restaurant! We were clearly first timers but were quickly greeted by the nicest smiling face of the (I assume) owner who walked us through the options. You could feel and taste the love that goes into the food there. It is so hard to find a healthy restaurant option where you also feel cared about and the food tastes good! My husband and I both LOVED the bowls we got. You get to choose from a wonderful number of options. Every bite was delicious! We will definitely be back and sharing about this jewel with our friends and family!!

Great family owned business. When we walked in for lunch and we were warmly greeted. They explained how the choices and everything is homemade. I got the braised lamb bowl with many toppings, my had the braised beef and my daughter had the grilled steak. For the base we had the carrot rice which had great flavor. My daughter who hates vegetables liked it. We also had molasses cookie which was very good. The hot ginger honey tea was perfect for a cold day. We would definitely stop by again.

I ordered food here for the first time yesterday and I was extremely impressed on so many levels. My first impression walking through the door was that this is a well managed environment. My toddler and I were greeted by whom I assume was the owner and he was so sweet. He was patient while we decided what we wanted. The food was absolutely delicious and there were lots of options. I loved that everything was homemade. I will absolutely be coming back!
