Loved it! First timer here, many friends had been raving about this place. We went for lunch as I heard dinner gets pretty packed. I was met with a very nice and helpful staff all the way from the hostess, to our waiter, and passing manager. I had A LOT of questions, but they answered them all and made the experience quite enjoyable. I would definitely recommend and hope everyone has an experience like I did.

First time dining at the new Gen in Chandler next to the Daiso. It’s an inviting and fun atmosphere with great lighting and upbeat music. The servers are top notch and will be Johnny on the spot for bringing out all the delicious meats and kimchi dishes. The food is fantastic. I’ve eaten at Gen in Vegas, Honolulu and LA. All top notch and Chandler location is a great score for our community.

Today, my family and I made the decision to give the Chandler location a try, as we happened to be in the vicinity. Arriving during lunchtime worked in our favor, as the wait time was short and the place wasn’t too crowded. The service we received was decent, and our meat dishes arrived promptly. However, I can’t say the same about the side dishes and additional extras we had requested. Despite that, the overall experience was satisfactory enough for us to enjoy our lunch.

Beef was a bit fatty and the shrimp has shells which is totally messy! Side condiments were just OK. Sauces were a bit bland. Pork belly was fatty too. I have been to better….prices are good though!

maria is an amazing server the and food is pretty good quality! the portions of each one are kinda small so i would suggest try a lot and get a second order of what you like. i highly suggest the steak it’s phenomenal with some salt and pepper. i also such their soul fries also really good! the only thing bad i would say is the shrimp it’s hard to peel since you’re grilling it instead of boiling. but high quality meats!
