Visited the food truck located inside Liberty. We ordered the beets, the brussel sprout salad, chicken, and pork belly. All the food was ordered via the mobile app and we were notified our food was ready by text message. All the food was served in paper trays. Portions were ample and easy to share. We ordered beer from the bar while waited and finished the pints while eating. There is a large outdoor beer garden with plenty of seating at metal picnic tables. There was more food than we could eat so we got take away containers for the leftovers.

I recently visited the East Side King food truck located at High Noon Bar in Austin, Texas, and I must say I was thoroughly impressed. The food was fantastic and the service was top-notch, with special thanks to Zach who really went out of his way to make sure I enjoyed my experience.

Freaking incredible. Eastside King has been around forever and is a legitimate Austin institution. I’ve not been disappointed with a single thing I’ve eaten here. Bold and unique flavors, done exquisitely well. Love the beet fries, karaage, and Brussels

went for the pork belly buns. the person taking the order said they had enough buns but didn’t. the ones we received were in pieces and haphazardly put together. the tori meshi was really good and i would definitely order that again. the location the food trailer is at is really cool though. the wait was 30 min for the order of buns and tori meshi.

The attention to detail in this food is very noticeable. The avocado and onions are perfectly crisp. The beets are salted right out of the fryer. The buns are chewy yet sturdy enough to hold their filling. From the garnishes to the accompanying sauces, this food is thoughtful and delicious. 10/10 would recommend.

So good! I’m a sauce gal so I ordered extra sauce and used every drop! Chicken over rice, my comfort food!

Staff is always wonderful, but something seems to have changed with the recipes in the last month. The last couple times we’ve been they haven’t used whatever sauce is so good on the Tori Meshi, and tonight they slathered everything (brussels sprouts salad and tori meshi) in something that looks and tastes like sriracha, which is too sweet for Thai-fusion IMO. Prices are high everywhere, but an average takeout boat of karaage and rice slathered in sriracha isn’t worth $15. Hopefully it turns around soon because it’s been a reliable spot in the past.

I tried the tofu kara-age, Jason helped me along with the menu choices. I think the tofu was delicious, and would definitely recommend it to my friends! I would definitely like to see more plant based options on the menu. Keep moving forward…

I really enjoyed the food here! The beet fries were so yummy!! And the chicken sandwich had such a great amalgamation of flavors. I can’t wait to try more. Someone next to me got the chicken and rice and it looked and smelled amazing.

Not bad and innovative offerings, but kinda expensive for the small portion sizes. The baos and slider felt particularly small for the price, and the brussel sprouts felt a bit drowned in sweet chili sauce. Got three mosquito bites in an hour sitting outside, which isn’t an indictment against the establishment, but everyone wants to know anyway right
