Service was horrible today. Ordered a king 11 hot. It was delivered to the wrong table. Did not find out about it until they complained. Our sandwich was remade 3 times and still was not right. Asked to be refunded so we could leave and find somewhere where the services was better. Absolute worst experience dinning anywhere EVER.

The company I work at orders lunch from a different place every Saturday and one of our favorites has been Hungry Hobo. Well the last two times we’ve ordered from the 53rd Store we’ve had at least one item missing from our order and had to drive all the way back. When I asked about some sort of compensation for the repeated inconvenience like a few cookies, the Owner, Kris, had just walked in so he took control of the conversation and told me very shortly “No. We don’t do that here,” and was generally very rude. We will not be ordering from this location in the future.

Horrible experience. Waited over 15 minutes while everyone else who came in after us got their orders. We were asked twice what we even ordered. The employees were all confused, rude to eachother and had attitudes. A customer brought their order up to be corrected. After finally receiving our food after the long wait it was still incorrect. I will never return to this location. Other Hungry Hobo restaurants in the QC are so much better.

Thought I would give them a try again. I visited this location on 2/22/23 and got good food, and great service. BUT, came back on 2/23/23, and was the opposite. Service was bad, four people, and no one could smile at a customer. My sandwich was made wrong. The bread that was nice and fresh yesterday was dry and tasted like sawdust. The lettuce was wilted on my sandwich. Granted, they told me I could take home the first sandwich, but that was beyond the point. Consistency goes a long way to keeping business successful Hungry Hobo!

What a refreshing restaurant compared to the tired Subways. Nice and clean, very well staffed, and the bread and ingredients were super fresh. The service was so good I got my food and ate it during my 15 break. They offer waffle fries or cookies or chips as part of the sandwich meal. I tried the fries—awesome. Note from the menu board they offer other foods including fresh soups of the day. I’ll be back. No Wifi.

This was once a great place to eat. Now it’s a sad excuse for a restaurant. The quality is horrible quality the customer service is horrible, making the orders correct is horrible. Stay away from 53rd and division u spend 45.00 and don’t get extra meat or cheese on our sandwiches, no extra mayo, cold mushy waffle fries. I tried to call and I could drive back I live 30minutes away. This is not my first bad experience l, but it will be the last because hungry hobo doesn’t care about theee customers. I just wasted my money. I will have to say good bye to one of the quad cities best. No it’s quad cities worst.

Worst experience ever. 5 people working, 1 person worried about the cakes on the counter when there was already 10…. 3 people behind me got my food before me and it took 20 min to get my food. The bread tasted stale and will not be returning.

First time eating at any Hungry Hobo location and the food that I ordered tasted good! I did feel rushed when looking at the menu, and the girl taking my order wasn’t the friendliest. I know everyone has rough days which is why I wasn’t going to write this, but after looking at the other reviews for this location I can see that there might be an attitude problem going on here. The man and the woman in the back making the food did smile at me and appear to be friendly and hard at work!
