Stickball Special
Provolone, ham and salami. Ordering a #2 with salami instead of cappaculo became a mouthful for some of our hungry customers, so we gave it a name and a number to call its own. The Stickball Special comes with provolone, ham, and salami and truly knocks it out of the park.
Cancro Special
Provolone, roast beef and pepperoni. In the summer of ’74, the Pepsi delivery man requested a curious combination of provolone, roast beef, and pepperoni. Peter Cancro’s brother, John, liked the sandwich so much, he gave it the family name and a menu spot of its own.

Had lunch here on 8/19/23 at about 2:15 pm. The food prep area was a visual mess with old nasty lettuce and a meat slicing machine that had a pile of old sliced meat sitting in a stack at the bottom of the machine.

Food was good, personally I think it’s overpriced. I ordered online and I got the completely wrong order. I had already driven home so I just ate it. it was good but I was definitely disappointed I didn’t get the sandwich I had ordered and been craving. I ordered wheat bread I got the rosemary bread, I ordered onions, the sandwich had no onions, I didn’t order avocado, but the Sandwich had avocado i ordered peppers but it had none. the bag had my name and receipt on it but the sandwich was definitely not what I ordered.

Sandwich was really good. Our pick up was ready when we got there. My son had an order that was sent to wrong store. Instead of making it right away we had to wait about an extra 15 minutes. Which made him late back to school.

Staff was very good about explaining what they put on it. We had a coupon and they were happy to apply it. We have been comparing the sub sandwich shops this month and the Cold Cut Combo at Subway still beats Jimmy John’s and Jersey Mike’s.

Two stars because, when trying to view their menu online, they make you either create an account with personally identifiable information (PII) or log in as a guest with your phone number and email and full name (* all required). You can’t even see anything about the items or prices. Example: I wanted a BLT. How big are they? How much does each cost? I don’t care if it’s been on the menu since the 90s. Nobody cares. I don’t order from a place where I can’t even look at the menu and prices online without divulging PII.
