Not a good experience for going there for the first time. We were anxious to try the new place, but couldn’t have been more disappointed! Garlic cheese bread had so much garlic salt, it was hard to eat it, pizza was burnt on edges & underneath. There were 3 different families totaling 7 children & 3 couples eating in. When the cook is joking with a guy & his child at the bar & yells from the kitchen M…F… to the guy, it made our experience & several others pretty irritating! The look on the 5 kids faces next to us was unbelievable! When asked how everything was, we told the waitress about the garlic salt & she told the cook when she went back. She evidently can’t take criticism & doesn’t care if she ruins the food. She wasn’t happy about being told & had to come see who said it. Then in a review from another customer with her 10 yr old granddaughter, we find out they were mocking us for saying something when we left? Really? Sad way to run a business. Believe me, alot of people will hear about this & that’s not a good way to start out a new business!! We were hoping for a new favorite place but guess that didn’t happen!

Pizza was good but a bit burnt around edges, garlic cheese bread was basically ruined with the garlic salt- way salty! As far as kid friendly, when the cook is joking with a customer & then yells from the kitchen m_____ f_____, with a kid at the bar & 5 more at the table by the bar, I would not call that kid friendly! Not like it was full of a bunch of adults! Not that it makes it ok either. Not a great 1st experience! Disappointed as we were anxious to try the new place.

This is an absolutely horrible restaurant. Villagio was so much better, plus the pizza is trash compared to Villagio. This was my first and last trip here. Hearing a female worker from the kitchen scream the m.f. bomb that resonated throughout the entire restaurant was thoroughly unimpressive coupled with the fact that I had my 10 year old grand daughter with me was embarrassing. Some customers complained about the food prior to us leaving, and after they left the workers proceeded to mock them and attempt to imitate them. What great fun. Totally unprofessional. I wish all of you could understand how much it pains me to have to give this place a 1 star rating. They certainly don’t deserve any stars. We always try to support Norwalk businesses and wish them the best, however this is an exception to the rule. To the owners of Gus and Lisa’s, why don’t you get rid of your present staff and hire people that will represent your business in the manner you desire. If you don’t like my review, well that’s too damn bad.

Food was awful. Fried cheese curds that were under cooked in grease that was too cold. They were saturated with grease. A frozen beef patty, meat like substance burger that was cold. A tenderloin that was a chewy breaded pork chop that was not pounded out. The atmosphere was loud and I believe one of the staff was drunk.
