This place is just cool. Nice location. Old school look and the owner of 28 years took my order and was a pleasure to meet him. I asked about the place and gleaned some of the organic story – a classic story of internal drive and purpose. I had an omelette and it was a NICE portion.

It is a great place in downtown Oakland. It is very good, clean, and well priced for a quick easy lunch. I eat there at least once a week. I love their original Philly cheese steak and often eat the hamburger. They have an excellent breakfast as well.

Coworker and I went here for the first time today. We got the cheesesteak we thought it couldn’t go wrong. Good portions. However, the meat was NOT seasoned at all!!! We were so disappointed we couldn’t even eat any of it also, the fries NO seasoning NO SALT at ALL….we just couldn’t eat!!! it so sad because I thought we would return but, my co worker is very disappointed!! WE are BOTH disappointed
