Stopped here on a Monday afternoon, the place was slow but had a chance to spoke to staff. This restaurant has been here for a year and recipes are from the owners family. The food here is great!!! Ropa veija was delicious with that acidic tang that I love in Cuban cooking. Black bean soup and fried plantains were delicious too. If you are downtown st Louis stop here for lunch and you won’t be disappointed.

Havana’s is amazing!! Easily the best sandwiches downtown. The sandwiches are large, heavy and full of flavor. You’re not going away hungry, and will likely take home some leftovers. You can tell that all the food is made with a passion for Cuban cuisine. Make sure you try some of the guava pastries!!! They are a must, but you need pace yourself with the sandwich so you’re not to full for the dessert 😉

We stopped by the Havana’s Cuisine for lunch; the food was great. We requested some some white rice as one of the kid in our group was picky. They gave us the rice at no additional cost. The lady at the front was soon nice and accommodating. We will definitely stop by there again and will recommend to everyone.
