Had a 7pm reservation at 7:30 asked the hostess when we could expect to be seated and she walked away from me without an answer. 10 minutes later we were seated. Then sat for an hour and 18 minutes till our chef came and tried to complain to the same hostess she again tried walking away and I had to yell to stop her. She rudely said soon. All said and done for 3 people it took 3 and a half hours to be seated and eat. This place has good food but service sucks the hostess is nasty and needs to retire already!

Sad but I have to share, we have been coming here for many years, the place is dirty! The table was dirty and the rug was super sticky yuk! Food was good and the chef was cool but the servers were terrible. I just can’t get past how dirty it was especially for what we paid! $$$

Went last nite. Got there at 7:00 PM. Didnt eat till 8:45. No waitress, no bartender, elevator not working, never cleared off table, never came for second drinks, fed table that came after us. Waited for service at table for 45 mins. Had 8 hungry people at table, just fuming. Complained to manager/owner, 4 times. Did nothing to accomodate us. Just walked away. On the way out we told him whay an awful experience this was, and he said nothing…just gestured with his hand, “I dont care”. We will NEVER, EVER GO BACK THERE!! They are short waitresses, chefs, and bartenders. Horrible place. If u want a much better experience at a Kiku, GO TO THE ONE IN PARAMUS ON RT. 17 South!! Total opposiye and wonderful food.

I feel bad to do this but the service was so terrible, food was edible enough I guess, definitely a dirty place… all in all it was just painful to pay this sizable a bill for a 1 star experience. To add, the place was 80% empty on a Friday night and still service was embarrassing… I’d understand if it was packed I suppose. If you have no standards or expectations this is a good place to eat. Just my thoughts. Sorry Kiku it was the big bill, sad service and the rude host that had me write this.
