1st and foremost, the food was ok but didn’t taste like authentic Jamaican food. I had the brown stew chicken and rice & beans and cabbage from the Governor’s Square Mall. It simply tasted like regular stewed chicken, no brown stew/Jamaican flavor, no umph. The rice&beans were fine as well, the cabbage was quite bland, don’t recommend . Plus they use plantains as a garnish and won’t let you do them as a side. Overall ok taste, but not what I was expecting. What I heard was not what I experienced.

The food and service was exceptional! The food was very flavorful and thoughtfully prepared with delicious drinks and decor. From the oxtails, rice and peas, goat, to breakfast and even tacos… everything is always delicious!! I definitely would recommend Sugarcane & Spices!!
