Drove by this place and decided to stop. The lady out side making tortillas was so sweet. The homemade tortillas were SOOO good. We decided to get down and have mendoza. It was sooo good as well homemade. Definitely coming back to try something different . Definitely stop and try it’s worth it.

My family & I drove a long way from San Diego just to arrive at this restaurant, to catch up on the long drive, and we took couple of minutes to decide what to order and the cashier is staring at me and my family throughout the entire time. When we were ready to order, the cashier said that he couldn’t take our order since they are taking a “lunch”. There is no sign at the restaurant stating that they take lunches and that’s why they denied accepting our order. I had my elderly grandmother with me and she had trouble moving around a lot. It was rude and such a hassle that we decided to make a complaint many times through the phone but they don’t even have management or supervision & the lady on the phone did not speak a lick of English at all.

We’ve been going here on nights where I don’t want to cook dinner for some time now and the food is just getting better and better! Last night we had Chicken Sopa, A Tostada, side of beans and rice. The soup was perfect and hot, the tostada light and tasty and beans were delicious. The rice was cooked perfectly. Wash down with a Modelo and Mandarin Jarrito and we give it 5 stars. Don’t come if you are in a hurry or feeling impatient, the atmosphere is laid back but there is usually not a big line which is great for relaxing and watching the music videos they play on the flatscreen while you wait for your food. We’ve never had to wait long enough to get annoyed. Its nice to have such good Mexican food nearby and the employees are always friendly.
