The retro 80’s-90’s vibe was immaculate. 80’s era MTV Hits playing on the sound system and a TV, classic Hulk Hogan wrestling on another, and a Sega Genesis hooked up to a third. Arcade cabinets and pinball machines line one wall and a beautiful panorama of Morganford visible from the floor to ceiling windows.

We tried the new 3 Little Monkeys in the Tower Grove area today. When we walked in, it was so confusing. We weren’t greeted and there weren’t any directions as to where to go, like do we sit down and order? We ended up figuring it out by seeing people lined up and placing their orders. We got our drinks right away (2 cold canned sodas and 2 cups of warm water from the water station with no ice). About 40 minutes later, we finally got our food. Honestly, it was just okay and the pizza reminded me a lot of Sbarro (you know, those pizza stands that used to be in shopping malls). We did enjoy the salad, though. They had a few arcade games and a old Sega Genesis, which my kids loved, but I was expecting more of the “80’s theme” like they advertised. Maybe it will get better in due time but we just weren’t overly impressed.

We are obsessed with this place. The throwback vibe is cool and the pizzas are fantastic. A standout item is the guacamole wontons, which we raved about. Love having such solid pizza in the neighborhood!
