Absolutely delightful experience. The restaurant was beautiful and elegant. When we walked in, we were greeted jovially and felt very welcomed. The server was attentive and the food was perfectly timed. It was also delicious. We ordered a few of the small plates to start: the truffle oil chicken, cauliflower, and samosas. Then we shared some larger sized mains: shrimp, paneer, and butter chicken. Again, delicious. Perfectly seasoned and cooked. And the special mushroom truffle naan was so amazing we had to order more. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back soon!

Beautiful, modern restaurant with excellent service. We started with the samosas which were amazing and then had butter chicken, the chicken Chettinad stew and roasted Chilean sea bass. You can order items mild, medium or spicy. We also added garlic and butter Naan. All of our food was very good, my favorite entree was the butter chicken. For dessert my favorite was the mango Kulfi mousse. Overall a wonderful experience and the restaurant is located in a great area of Minneapolis, parking is on the street or in a small lot next door. Highly recommend Raag for innovative Indian cuisine.

The flavors and presentation were wonderful. The kitchen and service is professional. The tonic non-alcoholic drink was exceptional. The bar is pretty but the rest of the ambience is jarring. The fireplace is wasted and blocked by a table that one is not seated at. The overhead lighting provides a feeling of being seated in a cafeteria.

The restaurant is a few blocks south of 50th and close to France. There is ample parking around the corner. Lovely dinner at Raag Progressive with Pat and Kathy. Sea bass for me. Although it came to the table tepid, the topping was crunchy and delicious and the fish had wonderfully sweet flesh. Scotch eggs for Bobby which he loved. Yum yum.

All servers and staff were very friendly and informative. I had been accompanied by someone who’s never eaten Indian food. But multiple people who worked there helped us get more acquainted with the food items.

This is a fantastic Indian restaurant with an upscale but still casual vibe. The food was excellent and well-presented. I highly recommend Raag!

Exceptional Indian cuisine and a good atmosphere for bringing a date, small group, or a work dinner (as we did). Reservation recommended as they fill up on weeknights. Good selection of vegan and gluten free menu items.

Ordered butter chicken, garlic naan & a tanqueray/tonic. Food was delicious, round up on your spice level – they seem to run conservatively on the spice scale. My medium level was not very spicy but I do like spicy foods. Not the best comparison, but If you do well with Tabasco you will likely need hotter than medium. Flavors were fantastic .

This is one of my favorite Indian restaurants in the city! One of kind and an absolute marvel. The restaurant has great ambiance and serves some very different style Indian food. The presentation and plating of the food is top class.
