Food was absolutely delicious! The sides are family style so just a heads up one side might be enough for the table I went alone and had plenty of food. But it was amazing. Best steak I’ve ever had.

Love the burgers… kind of like smashburger. Tots were lightly crispy and pretty tasty.

Ordered the MUT Burger with fries and it was delicious! Burger was cooked as requested and the fries were perfectly seasoned. Highly recommend this place if visiting the hotel.

You know when you go to a restaurant and it’s absolutely crazy inside but your server – in this case, Benjamin, or Ben – is absolutely calm, grounded and lovely? That’s Benjamin. Wonderful service, in the middle of the rush. Food was good, had the Ahi Poke Salad for lunch. But the service was fab. Thank you, Benjamin. Ask to be in their section, you will be very happy.

I highly recommend trying this spot out on a sunny day and grabbing lunch on the patio. Better yet, after a few holes of golf. The food is beautifully prepared and tastes as good as it looks.

The French onion soup was delicious. I loved their bread and butter, the butter had a little kick to it making it a savory treat. My meal was mediocre. I didn’t care for chewy scallops or the bland sweet potato soufflé. Had I stoped with the soup my opinion would have been high four, but my meal was not enjoyed.

Meritage is connected to Marriott Desert Ridge resort. The prices are surprisingly reasonable for such an upscale restaurant. Portions are generous. For lunch, the Turkey Club was wonderful and I would highly recommend it. They have a professional and friendly staff and bartenders that know how to mix some great Cocktails. Try the Collins or the Prickly Pear, both are excellent.

Food was good. Had the crab cake sandwich and enjoyed it. Service was awesome. If I need a bite and am here I would not hesitate to go back.

This is NOT a steakhouse! The New York Strip I had was fine, but over priced. I came here intending to order a filet mignon, but that isn’t on the menu. The bar is woefully under stocked. The bourbon, whisky and red wine selection is paltry compared to the lobby bar. The smashed potatoes are tiny potatoes smaller than golf balls—if you like potato skin, then this side dish may be for you. The bartender was very friendly. For the JW Marriott I expected a 10 out of 10, but this is a 2 out of 10 at best.

Service was great, but too expensive. Food was very well presented, but the looks didn’t match the taste. Had braised short ribs. Looked great but average taste.
