I never had kolaches before and it was on must-eat list for Salt Lake City so I had to try it. We came at around noon so some of the flavors were sold out.

The Kolaches are great, typical of the scene and what more can you ask for? It’s the perfect pick up and go travel food.

Saw this place on the food network, and decided to try it. Raspberry Kolache was amazing! Great dough and filling. Texas one was also great, fresh and warm still. Great price and amazing taste. Definitely will be coming back

Wonderful kolaches! Rolls with savoriness inside or sweetness on top.

I am usually pretty generous with my ratings but Hruska’s Kolaches TRULY earned all 5-stars. The food here is delicious. I love to get both savory and sweet kolaches. Either are amazing. They also have nice drinks to-go if you want. There isn’t seating inside, but these are easy to eat without sitting down. When I have friends in town, this is always a place I love to bring them. It never disappoints.

These kolaches are KILLER. They have savory and sweet, with some specials here and there that get sold out quick. Get there early and take a chance.

Prior to Hruska’s, I had no idea what a kolache was. Now my life has improved significantly. The best way I can describe a kolache is a breakfast bun stuffed with all sorts of good stuff. We ordered the sausage, egg, and cheese, sausage and gravy, sausage, cheese, and jalapeno, raspberry, and strawberry kolache. None disappointed. The jalapeno was so good. Great flavor with very little kick. The raspberry and strawberry kolaches were very good as well but on the sweeter side (think more of a dessert). I have a rule where I don’t order stuff biscuits and gravy at breakfast places because my wife’s family is from the south and has that meal mastered. However, my wife ordered it and it was very good (one of the best attempts in the state). Be prepared to wait in line and the daily specials sell out quickly. It’s a small place with some seating in the back on a patio but I’d plan on taking the kolaches home with you. They’re open at 6:30 and close when everything is sold out for the day. The buns are around $3 each and they are filling. I think most people would be satisfied with one but I always order two (they’re so good)! We’ll definitely be back to this place.

One of our favorite places to visit anytime we visit the Salt Lake City downtown area. The food is so good that there’s no other place like this in the SLC area. Make sure you visit early in the morning, to get a chance to taste all kinds of flavors.

We order from here frequently this is one of my favorite comfort breakfasts I have found. They are so nice and the kolaches are delicious every time. I love the sausage gravy kolache and the one with mixed berry.

First time visiting this place. The place is pretty small located in a corner of a shopping strip. Has some pretty cool interior decoration. Got the bacon, egg and cheese Kolaches that was really good also got the sweet version of the mixed berry kolache with raspberries and blueberries along with cheese. I liked the bacon egg and cheese one better than the sweet kaloche. Would visit again. The prices are also pretty reasonable.
