Five Dogs Ranch
Went into the “The Shop” to get a service done on our car and found this amazing little spot for some quality grub. I call it grub because it was “grubbin!” Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. We ordered an order of fries and two corn dogs. Fries were huge, fresh cut and way plentiful. The corn dogs were like they were at the fair and carnivals back in the day. Prices were extremely reasonable, especially considering they’re serving local beef. We’ll have to be back and soon to get some burgers. But what I saw going out the drive up window looked like some damn good grub!

So after hiking and exploring all day in Grand Mesa, we were starving for some good food. We decided burgers and looked up a few places and drove down to get some burgers. We always like the small town vibe and feel and this was perfect. Order your burger and pick from like a “thousand toppings” and then they make it fresh for you and fresh fries as well. Food was amazing! Cooked properly and tasted perfect. Service was what you expect from a small town and we really enjoyed our stop and the way we were treated.

Do you remember the old drive ins that served the best greasy fries and burgers that you had ever eaten? Route 65 will remind you of those great places. No frills here, simply pick your burger and then load on whatever toppings you want. Fries in all shapes and delicious. Do not pass them by, give them a try. Plus if you need work done on your vehicle, The Shop is right there too!

My Sister & I ate here the other day, after driving by for the last year!? lol I just got a burger & fries, it was amazing! My Sister got a burger & sweet potato fries & said hers was awesome as well! What’s cool is all their food is from the local area. I wish we would of tried thier ice cream/shakes, but were too stuffed to try!? I’ll definitely eat here again, probably bring the kids next time….& will 100% save room for dessert! :))
