I love this place. Food is good, service is great and I love the nostalgia. I feel it’s a little expensive for the quality of food. It’s also not very big inside so there might be a wait. The restrooms were very clean. It’s located in downtown Lebanon so it’s mostly on street parking.

My daughter and I had lunch here. I had the grilled cheeseburger sandwich with fries. It was pretty good. We had split a piece of chocolate cake. It was served warm. I believe the menu mentioned it was served with raspberry drizzle and fresh raspberries. We did not see or taste any raspberries. We didn’t mention it to our server because service was a little slow and we didn’t want to take more time.

I don’t see how 2 dry burgers are worth $27. My Western burger was chewy and dry. Perhaps old. 1 tiny quarter sized onion ring on it? No pickle, even when I asked for it. I’m done eating here. I feel like they are cutting corners and stopped caring. This isn’t the first time either. It’s every time decide to try it again.

Village Parlor is my new favorite spot in the Dayton area for shakes, but the true cherry on top is the staff. I don’t know of a place with friendlier employees. Make sure you dine in to get the full experience!
