If you have not tried this restaurant, you must. The jerk ribs were so tender, mc and cheese and a side of sweet n sour collard greens all was delicious. The fish n grits were good, a different fish other than whiting is needed and there was no sauce. The Cornish hen, yams, sweet n sour collards and grits were delicious.. The waitress was very nice. We would definitely go back. The food was flavorful.

This hidden gem in Kennesaw was so good I almost hesitate to leave a review for fear that it will be crowded in the future.

I visited on Saturday, June 3 with a group of lovely women for brunch. I ordered from the al a carte menu which I’m glad is offered because I rarely can eat 1 full plate of food. The potatoes came out first and the bacon and eggs came out about 15 minutes later. The food was seasoned good. I ate a bite of a friend’s waffle and it was very sweet and delicious (doesn’t require syrup at all). Unfortunately, they were unable to make any of the sangrias offered on the menu so I ordered a Black Owned Long Island which did not disappoint . Our server was okay. No DJ, but I’m sure it gets lit when a DJ is there.

The $30 All-you-can eat Sunday Brunch is very popular. Our friends invited us for an event. The establishment looks really good for it to be in a plaza. This place could easily be a standalone downtown packed daily. The arrangement is unique because not many people offer all you can eat brunch. I think Pappadeaux has one but is more expensive, but Pappadeaux does have more premium entrées. The music was premium all day, no complaints I like that the owners were visible and talking to the people. It looks like they are well known and well liked. I feel that what I received for what I paid was well worth it unlimited trips to food and I was super full for only $30. Like any restaurant The price jumps up when you order drinks but I don’t drink so all was well for me.

I’ve been here several times and have never been disappointed. All the food is as delicious as it looks and the cocktails are delightful! My fav drinks are the Lemon Drop and Taylormade Martinis.

I love supporting black businesses so it pains me to leave this review; however, I would be remiss to allow this to happen to another paying customer. My husband and I decided to try this spot out after church on Sunday. We were given the option of ordering off the menu(which consisted of about 3 options) or paying $30 per person for the buffet. First off, the buffet isn’t your typical buffet. It consisted of 2 servers serving food from chafing dishes. The portions were very small and the food was cold. The waffles for the chicken and waffles were doughy and the chicken tenders didn’t taste like it was from a chicken breast but instead possibly dark meat. The potatoes were cold and very under seasoned. The grits for the shrimp and grits were cold and the shrimp were small and overcooked. The best thing about the buffet was the bacon and even that could have been crispier. There was a DJ present; however, the music was extremely loud to be in such a closed-in space. The restaurant does have a nice eccentric vibe, which I loved. However, overall, this was by far the worst brunch experience that I have ever experienced. My husband and I didn’t even finish our first plate and had no desire to go back for seconds. We paid our check(also tipped the waitress as she was professional even though gratuity is already included in the check) and left. I do not recommend this restaurant and have no desire to return.

love supporting black businesses….but…..so it pains me to leave this review; however, my friend came from out of town, this restaurant was recommended so I decided to try this spot out. Buffet style, they had only one server fixing plates, very small portions. Gave one spoonful of grits, with only 2 shrimp. That was the shrimp and grits. The chicken was not crispy. Food was cold. The DJ was the best of this brunch experience. Drinks came out when meal was almost completed. Was super embarrassed, bringing my bestie from NY. Definitely not worth the money!!

BRUNCH PARTAYYY!! Live DJ, southern comfort Sunday brunch served buffet-style, mimosa flights, and so much more. Shrimp and grits, and Brussels sprouts were my fave along with the chicken, though I didn’t try the waffles. Had a friend celebrating a birthday and they DEFINITELY celebrated her—calling her to the DJ booth and even gave her a bday cupcake. The owners dropped by later in the service and that was a really nice touch. Make sure you’re ready to party—the music is on the louder end and the vibes are excitingly bubbly! Definitely stop by when you’re in the Kennesaw area.

My expectations for the $30 price tag didn’t compare! Although the waitress, Mia, was very kind … The food was very subpar! The chicken sausage seemed like “old” food! Much of the food was luke warm and we got there at 11:15am! It came to our understanding, that some of the meats (especially later on in the day for the buffet) that is put out is from what didn’t sell the night(s) before! The $2 drinks we partook in were awful! I really want to continue to support black owned business but they need to rise to the occasion and serve quality hot fresh food, with much more of an array / selection to charge that amount! We meet the owner & when he asked how everything was, I said ok … he didn’t even probe asking what was wrong! It was when I realized who he was I called him back & had the opportunity to tell him!
