We came to this place in the evening. The place had trash on the floor and many tables were still dirty. The wait time to receive the food was on the longer side. After receiving the food it was actually okay. The worst part of eating here is the annoying Reguetón music that plays nonstop. I asked the waiter if they would eventually transition to other music but she said she didn’t have time to look for other music. This is definitely a “to-go” place if you are craving some good enough Mexican style sushi. Definitely not coming back.

We came for the sushi but stayed for the tacos de cabeza. I ordered three rounds. I highly recommend the sushi de charola for a group of 3 or more. The atmosphere got a two because we just wanted to wash down all that good food with a nice shot of tequila. Unfortunately, alcohol isn’t served here.

I have been going to mocorrito on 35th ave and Glendale since it opened and It is a little pricy but the food is good! I do wish the service was better or atleast friendlier. I feel some of the girls who work there and have helped me on numerous occasions are not happy to help me out. What is interesting the men sitting at the restaurant seem to be provided better service. They are not super fast so don’t worry about arriving early if you are picking up an order.. I literally keep going for the food and not the service that is why I do take out..

Ordered a cielo, mar y tierra roll for pick up. It was ready in 5 mins, so pick up time was really good. But sushi rice was too sweet and they only gave us half of one chile güerito, like they literally cut it in half lol. We paid $17 for one roll, so it’s a little over priced.

The food is pretty decent. The main thing I dislike the most is that they don’t do separate orders. So if you go with family or friends, they will give you your check and you must figure out how much you owe amongst yourselves. They won’t separate it using their charging system. Pretty lame to me. We’re in 2023 and that shouldn’t be an issue.

LOL, still cant believe I found a Mexican sushi place!!! And can’t believe I actually like it, a lot! Will definitely go back! It is more fried rice cake than sushi, for the rice part is like a cake, not sushi rice. It is fried, with sweetened mayo, aka some yumyum sauce, lol, so pleasantly tasty!

I’ve ordered for pick up, which takes about 25min never had an issue there. I’ve eaten there a few times, it’s pretty warm. The staff we’ve dealt with are not rude but for sure don’t go out of their way to be friendly. I’ve tried a few of their sushi plates and have never been disappointed. Today I had the Llegadora roll and it was great and plenty of food.

We had a party of 6 that wanted to have Sinaloa-style sushi, we had tried mocorito a few years back, and it was good, so we looked them up, and they closed at 11. We drove from Central Phoenix for about 15 min, and we got there around 9:30. When we opened the door, the waitress asked if we were picking up, and I responded we weren’t; it was to dine in. She said they were closed, and I asked if closing wasn’t till 11; she said yes, but they had a lot of pick-up orders and refused to serve us. The dining area was empty, so I wondered if it was just the closing personnel trying to leave early. We ended up at Culichitown, their sushi and service was great.

Sushi esta mediocre, demasiado arroz. Y luego encima de eso nomas te dan 3 Chipotle Mayo para una charola de 4-5 rollos. Y te cobran por los extras cuando comes ahí te la dan gratis??? No entiendo por qué pero no vale la pena. Mediocre sushi full of rice and not enough filling. On top of that they only give you 3 Chipotle sauces for a whole platter of 4-5 rolls. If you want more you have to pay extra but when you eat there they give you a full bottle to help yourself for free? Doesn’t make sense. Not worth it go somewhere else! Will not purchase again. I ASKED FOR A SPECIAL REQUEST NO SRIRACHA AND THEY STILL PUT IT HAD TO THROW A WHOLE ROLL AWAY!
