Uh…dang!…what took me so long? Maybe the limited hours but wow! Finally a burger I can call my own and recommend to coworkers. I will say between this and Commerce around the block, this one has the slight edge plus has a bit more room to get into place during lunch. Super nice folks. Cool atmosphere. Can’t wait to do the Reuben and many others. Gonna be hard to get past the Cooperstown burger tho!

Just got sandwiches for me and my wife from this place. So expensive and so disappointing. Dry, no taste, couldn’t eat more than a few bites. Almost nothing in the sandwich. All bread. I really wanted to walk back there and show the very nice gentleman who served us if he really intended my sandwich to look and taste like this. Just way too hot out to go back. I wish I would have opened the package when I was still there to show him what I paid for. Going in the garbage. Big waste of money.

Tried this out as it’s right near my work. Friendly service. Definitely not a place to get a salad though if that’s what you’re looking for. I got a cobb salad and it was sad and very minimal. Definitely more of a side salad situation. My fault I guess. I’m sure the sandwiches are better.

This deli was recommended by a coworker and it is everything he said. In my humble opinion this is as good a NYC deli as you will get in New Orleans. The sandwich’s are served hearty and they all have NY themed names. Great vibe in the place. Solid lunch option.

Best Reuben I’ve ever had! Also had the chicken version of an Au Jus sandwich, and it was fantastic as well! And, had a filet roast beef that was top notch. Highly recommend!

A confused smattering of rings arrive unceremoniously thrown into a wax-paper lined black basket, which is far too large for the amount of onion rings. They’re like a small moon in the empty depths of space, lined with rings, perhaps, but surrounded by the inky darkness from which none can escape. The imagery is magnified when looking at the dark black basket, and the plain white paper, much like the empty stretches of Lunar craters, viewed from far below.

Got a prosciutto and mozzarella sub. Asked two times to make sure they put balsamic vinegar on it. No they did not listen. Very disappointed. Not even Fresh mozzarella. $18 will not go back barely and meat. Not a real NY style deli
