The food was wonderful, the service not so much. We found the ever so common dirty booth, even though we were some of the first customers of the day. How long were those crumbs there? Why do I have to wipe them down as a customer? Why is this common everywhere? Maybe it’s because nobody is teaching anybody how to actually wait tables and keep a clean front of house. Even at places with Busboys you have a problem with none of them cleaning the chairs or booths.

What a “sweet” gem of a find today! The waitress, Hannah, was very helpful in choices on the menu and very accommodating. The food was excellent!! The salads are huge and so delicious! The fresh fruit was an added plus! The inside had plenty of seating, with clean fresh decor, as well as seating outside. Take a minute and try this AMAZING place! They even have yummy desserts to go! Enjoy!

The Waffle tower, The cheesy grits bowl and the kitchen sink were all of excellent quality. The waffles were so amazing. Excellent customer service, very friendly and helpful. The place is Laid back and relaxed with cool vibes, and even had fresh flowers on the tables. Great place. We totally recommend this place.

Amazing food, the staff was so nice and the atmosphere is amazing. Can’t wait to have lunch there! My son enjoyed the enormous waffle tower, and my little one devoured his chocolate chip waffles. I had the kitchen sink and the Nashville chicken on it perfectly complimented the sausage gravy.

We were headed downtown to one of our favorite spots, but it was too busy, so we turned around and decided to give Carolina Coastal a try for the first time. It’s always a risk when you go from your favorite place to a brand new place to try, but I’m so glad that we did because it was amazing! The atmosphere is adorable, plenty of outdoor seating if you have a pup, service was quick and good, and the food was the best part – amazing burger and Nashville hot chicken! And to top it all off, the latte was so delicious and strong. I would definitely recommend this place and we will be back.

Found this little breakfast place by chance when leaving Bald Head Island and found this cute spot by chance. The service was excellent and very attentive and friendly. The food was outstanding especially the bowls ( we had the chili egg bowl and the loaded hashbrown bowl).

Ended up going with a friend. My dog was out on the patio, so we switched off who held his leash while we grabbed a quick breakfast! I ended up just missing the espresso by a minute or so, which was pretty disappointing. The staff was understanding of the situation and offered me other beverage suggestions. They even gave me a discount for the inconvenience. A sign posting the hours of the barista would be a nice addition! Otherwise will be back here the next time I’m in Southport.
