Don’t go here unless you have 30 minutes to wait for the employees to take your order and make it. Food wasn’t terrible when it came out by $13 for a Pulled Pork Sandwich, MAC and Cheese and a Snapple. The funny thing is I ordered a pulled chicken sandwich and she even verbally acknowledged me. As the line got longer, stated “does it ever stop, this blows.”

When I was there the place was terribly understaffed. The manager was actually doing most of the cooking. We waited for 15 minutes for our food, which wasn’t that good. Overall I’m not pleased with HMS Host at this location. Most of the restaurants have long lines and wait times. I’m not sure if they’re responsible for cleaning tables, but they’re often a mess. PA Turnpike should reconsider their contract when it comes up for renewal.

Unacceptable customer service. But the pulled pork actually tasted good. I was here about 2 days ago and the young lady tending the grill chose not to serve me. She walked around with her back to me for about 5 minutes moving things around behind the counter, but never made eye contact or even acknowledge that I was there. The only way I was sure she knew I was there was when a polite young man working at the pizza place next door asked her if he could take my order for her. And unbelievably she said no don’t take his order. So instead I walked over to the pizza place and got a slice of pizza. So, this morning I went back there because I I really wanted to try the barbecue , and the same young lady was at the counter. At least she acknowledged my existence but she was rude, very rude. She actually never greeted me at all, but at least this time she took my order. I ordered pulled pork BBQ sandwich. She whipped it up on the grill squirted some barbecue sauce on it and a pretty good helping of coleslaw in a sandwich as well. The barbecue and the coleslaw tasted pretty good. Especially since this is a rest area truckstop kind of place. But, the kaiser roll that it was served on was inedible. Hard as a freaking Rock. Had to be 5 days old. I didn’t even take one bite of it. I ate the BBQ in the coleslaw with a fork instead. So, in the end I got a small serving of barbecue and coleslaw for about ten bucks. At least it tasted pretty good.

Great cheap BBQ on your way between Philly and Allentown. Prices are low, quality is consistent with a good food truck, portions are bigger than expected. Employees were nice and service was good. We had their chili Mac and a pulled chicken sandwich and they were delicious.

Bull 2 bowls were 22 bucks and trust me they were tiny. Very tiny.. they put the whole bowl meat with 2 sides in a container that is usually designed for 1 side! Don’t waste your money! I never felt so ripped off..

The pulled chicken bowl had little chicken in it. Mostly it was over sauced slaw. We ordered two “dirty tots” with pork. Should have come out looking the same but one had green onions, one didn’t . Also the onioned one had cheese on top, the other did not. The chili Mac had no brisket in it. Instead, it looked like a little ground beef.

What a rip off place! Not happy at all. Ordered a cheesteak for almost $10.00 and all it consisted of was a big bun with 1 1/2 pieces of frozen steak-um and 2 thin slices of provolone cheese. It was dry/overcooked and nothing but bun. I also ordered the beef brisket bowl for almost $10 and they overcooked 5 tiny slices of meat until it was the consistency of crispy bacon, then they put 5 tater tots in and a small scoop of tasteless Cole slaw. I went to fill my soda and the 1 machine had no ice and the other had ice the consistency of a wet snow cone, the diet coke had no carbonation and the regular coke was completely out of syrup. The grill area was dirty and the “cooks” used the same dirty spatulas that had old dried on food for every order they were making. Also saw gloved hands put raw frozen meat on the grill and then immediately used the same gloved hands to toast the bun on the grill and the same gloved hands also touched the entire pack of cheese to pull off 2 slices. That is definitely a health hazard!

It took 5 minutes before someone put my order on the grill, food was on the grill for only about minute. Currently sitting in parking lot poking at this tiny portion of cold pulled pork. Will not eat here again, looks like I’m not the only one. Wonder what food establishment will fill this soon-to-be vacant space.

Friendly service, but that’s only good thing here. The pulled pork they gave us wasn’t even pulled, it was so bad I could only eat a quarter of it, it cost 9 dollars for just a small appetizer dish, and it didn’t come with a fork or napkin so we had to get it from a different vendor

Don’t talk bad about food here. Was just inside 30 minutes ago when. Asked for a frito pie, young girl’s response “we don’t have chili for a frito pie”. So I asked what was good, response from same young girl – what ever your preference is. Now mind you I have never been to this place before. So I said I’ll just take a pulled pork bowl I guess. So while ringing that up she says you guess?? And I say yeah I guess. Her response under her breath, “not with that attitude.” Needless to say I asked for the manager. He was nice. But I think there needs to be more than just having a talk and paperwork needs to be done.
