On a rainy resort day, I took my kids to find pinball and grab some lunch.

We loved the family atmosphere and the pizza was excellent! The crust was crispy and stayed that way, did not get soggy. The toppings were generous, the pizza was delicious and it was reasonably priced. We eat there every time we come to Eagle River and have never been disappointed, we love Alexander’s Pizza!

Been here a while ago and was probably the worst experience I’ve ever had at a food place. No plates, no ranch, no Parmesan cheese, no nothing. I can’t begin to explain just how rude the owner of this restaurant is. He gave himself an absolutely obnoxious nickname , probably to feel powerful or something. Bathrooms were disgusting, owner is very rude and when you ask for anything he thinks your complaining, They charge for everything , I’m surprised they don’t charge for opening the door too. In all honesty, I rarely review, but heed my message , this will NOT be worth your money, needs a new owner and BAD. Pizza taste like old cardboard. 0 stars.

Horrible experience!!! Food was not good, old man at register was very unpleasant. I watched him cuss and yell at a group of teen boys from a soccer camp. The only thing the boys did, was ask for a pitcher of water and when their pizza was going to be ready. I waited an hour and 20 mins for a medium pizza. I asked for my money back right as my pizza was coming out of the oven. I over heard one customer say they had called ahead 3 hours prior, had been waiting 40 minutes to pick up their pizza and it still was not ready. I understand when things get busy and backed up but we should have been told there was a wait and the old man at the counter should definitely not be up there. I will never go back!

I have grown up eating here and think they have the best pizza. Hands down. All of the throwback grumpiness and crappy atmosphere is so real it’s comical. And I’m not kidding when I say it’s actually toned down over the years. The owner has a good heart and is a lover of Eagle River, which you have to appreciate. The payment policies are just ridiculous, at best. Take out a small loan to get a tasty pizza pie when you’re in town and laugh at the quirkiness of it all. Just get it to go and buy beverages and Parmesan cheese elsewhere unless you want to listen to Beautiful Music by Percy Faith and watch the weather channel. If you can’t handle that as your eat-in atmosphere, you’re part of the riff-raff he doesn’t want sticking around anyway.

Alexander’s Pizza is the best pizza I’ve eaten! We visit Eagle River on a regular basis and we frequent Alexander’s with each visit. The atmosphere has a pleasant “back home, small town, yester-year feel” and the establishment allows us to retreat and relax. I enjoy the owner’s personality, he rises to the occasion of having a unique sincerity to him that I appreciate. Can’t wait to order our next pizza from Alexander’s.

The pizza was okay, we went because there was no where else to go. The guy working at the counter was very rude, swore at people and even told someone to sit down at their table and shut their mouths.

A throw back to the 80’s. pizza is awesome – crispy crust, and has a unique flavor i have only found here. Just great. I would give it a 5 if it was cleaner and updated somewhat, but it is fine the way it is. Been going here for 10+ years when we come up here for camping.

other folks from the big cities might degrade this place but the pizza is done right. And this is a tourist area and we locals who live and work here are exhausted and over whelmed by taking care of our summer “guests” that yes, it can show up in a lack of patience. Now that does not justify rudeness or poor service.

We ended up eating here only because it was one of the two places open 4th of July weekend. The temps were in the 90’s outside and felt like 110 inside; there’s no air conditioning just a screen door to let what little breeze there is in. We waited over an hour for our pizza. The pizza was ok but like others said it’s over priced. If you find yourselves in Eagle River on a holiday weekend at lunchtime; keep driving
