Went to socks love bbq for lunch and had one of the best sandwiches ever. It is full of meat and cheese and just shows the effort they put into the food the send out to their customers. It was amazing! Everything here is phenomenal. Love the OMG mac and cheese, fries, cream corn, and collards. Follow them on Instagram if you want to see their specials. This brisket Philly will blow your mind. Thank me later if you’ve never eaten there!

Pretty decent BBQ. I ordered the chopped brisket sandwich ($8.95) with a side of fries and cowboy beans. the place is small but the service is fast. If you’re in the area and craving BBQ give Socks Love Barbecue a try.

Legitimately the best barbecue I’ve ever had. We tried the sliced brisket, chicken, sausage, and pulled pork, and everything was phenomenal. Their sides were also amazing (mac and cheese, brisket chili, cowboy beans, and fire roasted creamed corn.) We will definitely be back to try more! Super friendly service as well. Great job!

Was excited to try a new place with such high reviews. Got a half pound each pulled pork and brisket to go. $25 or so. The brisket was at least 30% fat: huge clumps in it. We literally could not eat almost half of what we got. The pulled pork was black papery skin mostly… not really any good juicy meat from deep in the shoulder. The family picked through it and we ended up eating about half and throwing away about half. I’ve had much better for less money. Sorry. wanted to love it but on a value basis, this place is not a deal.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while based off of all the good reviews. I really wanted to like it 🙁 I went with a friend and we both tried two meat platter. Both meats were tepid at best. I was surprised at the portions; my thought was there was going to be more meat, other than one slice of brisket however, it was a thick slice. The pulled pork appeared to be overdone and the main part of the brisket was very dry. The fat side of the brisket was moist. I think the best part of the meal were the sides. I had the beans, and my friend have the chili. Unfortunately, I don’t think I will return. I really wanted to like this place! Total bill for 2 was over $40.

17Dec2021 – good stuff, delicious, mouthwatering brisket. My wife loved the turkey and pork, juicy and tasty. The mac and cheese was different than the elbows I’m used to but absolutely nailed it, big rigatoni noodles, I think, cheesy and amazing, could’ve eaten a pound of them.

Great BBQ and friendly service. The mac n cheese was a hit with kids and adults in our big group. Brisket was delicious and the sides didn’t disappoint at all. Appreciated the veggie plate for the one vegetarian in our group.

Food smelled and tasted great. But for several days I had an upset stomach and gas and diarrhea. Either they use too much liquid smoke or an herb or spice that didn’t sit well with me. But I eat barbecue all the time and don’t have that problem.
