My wife and I took a much needed small vaca. We stayed not far from Salty Goat Gill. Decided to try it for breakfast, and I’m glad we did. It was delicious! Portions were large and service was great (we took it to go). Will definitely eat here when we visit again.

OMG get the Country Fried Steak you won’t regret it I promise it’s probably one of the best I’ve had in a long while. My husband ordered one, I didn’t, took a bite of his and ordered my own. Service was spot on, appeared clean, and lots of locals eat there.

Enrique has a wonderful concept here, and he follows through flawlessly! Walking in I wasn’t expecting anything out of the ordinary, but from the moment we sat down we were treated to something EXTRAORDINARY! From the super fresh salad to the incredibly delicious trout, every bite seemed to be new and exciting! The server, Hannah, was charming and attentive! While we live almost an hours drive away, this will be a weekly thing for us! Thank you thank you!!!! I love the Salty Goat!!!

The outside appearance makes the Salty Goat Grill look like a fun place to eat. Once inside, it’s brightly lit and appeared to be densely occupied by diners. It reminded me of a cafeteria. We took a booth. Our meals were fine. Desert was something we should have passed–the apple pie had it’s ice cream melted and with a pool of melted ice flooded the dish. It was definitely an up-sell by our waitress. The dessert wasn’t very appealing and didn’t eat much of it. At checkout, the restaurant charges 4% fee for the use of a debit or credit card. I’m never a fan of this because business costs are already rolled into menu pricing. Overall, the dinner was on the pricey side of the scale when considering the meals ordered.

Visiting NC, was in the area and just pulled in to eat. Very very good food, burgers, homemade chips and regular fries were fantastic. Loved the decor and the music he was playing. Must try if your in the area.’

Been fir lunch several times now, great food! I’ve had fish tacos, chicken sub, burger, and fresh made strawberry shortcake. All were fantastic. Servers friendly and knowledgeable. Great little spot.

Amazing food!! They give you plenty of it. The waitresses are helpful to the guests and each other. We did NOT leave hungry. 6 of us dined here on our way to ride the devils drop.

It’s THE place for breakfast in Leicester. Sure, you can grab a biscuit down the road, but this is where the movers and shakers eat. Good food. Service Ok. Clean and friendly enough. Opens early.
