Understaffed, service wasn’t very attentive. Food is really good here, especially their eggrolls. We’ve eaten here several times now, wings are good, burgers are good although everything is ala carte if you want lettuce, tomato, and/or onion $$$ fees. Lots of locals go here, happy hour is good.

We were really surprised. We got turned away by 2 other restaurants in N. Myrtle Beach on a Sunday night due to them being fully booked. We finally stopped by Sugrue’s due to the good reviews on google. We walked in and the place was almost empty. The atmosphere is not the greatest, but the music was great. The waitstaff was very friendly and fast. But the star of the show was the food. They serve pub food, but they take it up a notch. Their selection of grilled cheese sandwiches is fantastic. The pulled port grilled cheese was very good, as was the bacon and tomato. We also very much enjoyed the wings, fries and pita chips. We will be going back there the next time we’re in N. Myrtle Beach.

We were invited by Ken Thomas the drummer for Sunburst Radio who performed last night. Had a great time. Food was very good, service was excellent. And we enjoyed the live music. We will definately be back.

Consistently good food and service. Of course, it’s not a 5 star restaurant, but I gave it 5 stars because when I want to go out for a beer and some good bar food, this is where I go. Great burgers. Cold beer. They have good bands play on a regular basis. What more can you ask for from a local bar. Oh, reasonable prices as well. Highly recommend.

Very good restaurant. Food is good and they have music on the weekend. Service is great. The bartender/waitresses are moving in high gear all night. For dessert, they have cheesecake or apple pie egg rolls. They are sooooo delicious. During the week, they have darts competitions and pool.

Best grilled cheese ever! Service was awesome and food was too. We stopped by after a baseball tournament, wanted to eat at a place that wasn’t a tourist trap. It is definitely a bar that serves good food. We went early with our 13y.o and the crowd was small enough I didn’t feel like I was taking my kid bar hopping PS happy hour every day!!

The food was good and affordable. Probably the worst service I have had in years. Not completely the staffs fault as they appeared to be understaffed for the weekend. But nonetheless it led to me having to walk up to the bar for sauces, napkins, refills, etc. Never had a waitress come and check on us at all.

First time here, sat at bar not real busy when we got there. Waited on quickly at first then ordered a couple tacos. Took way to long for 2 tacos and they seemed to just forget about us. Sat my empty beer bottle out in front for another beer and he took it threw it away and started making drinks for a table. I had to ask for another beer. Wanted to order more food but we was ignored so we paid tab and left. This is a a locals place and that’s the reason we went there. But we like to be waited on just like the locals but that was not the case.

We ate there twice during our stay in NMB. My husband tried two different options, I stayed with the grilled chicken (minus the bun, which looked yummy, but is a diabetic no-no) and side salad. So, so delicious! My husband got our dinner to go and said it was an incredibly friendly place. They even recognized him when he went back the second time. Super-duper highly recommended!
