5 stars for being one of few places still open after hurricane Ian. Every other place has no power but they’re still up and running. I think probably running that generator full blast. We’re all stuck without power right now and our streets flooded. They could’ve closed down for the day but glad they wanna make some money cuz being stuck with no food sucks. Much props to China Star for staying open a day after Hurricane Ian

Out of all the Chinese food restaurants we have tried around town we have two favorites and this is tour top one! The food is always amazing and they seem to be the only people who know how to make a great wonton soup! I wish the lunch special prices were the same as they were before COVID but still worth it just the same.

Well after getting out of the hospital from food poisoning after eating from China Star I’d suggest NO ONE EAT HERE. They may give ample amounts of food, but something was rotten, cross-contaminated, contaminated in some sort to have gotten me sick. The only thing I ate that day, the next day was in the hospital. The restaurant isn’t even air-conditioned, front and back doors were propped open. No gloves, no washing of hands, disgusting place. I’m A Local HERE. 7/23/2023.

My shrimp was mushy, I called to tell them and he act like he couldn’t understand….but can understand when I placed order!! Return food and he shows me other shrimp that looks just as mushy, then I asked for my money back, and he said he has to charge me half…….it wasn’t about the money…just wanted good shrimp fried rice!!!
