This was my first experience at the Tampa location. I saw only one employee during our visit. He was polite, worked the register, and brought our food to the table. I’m pretty sure he wasn’t cooking too, ha. We ordered a Smashburger, Smoked Bacon Brisket Burger, Chicken Tenders, Haystacks (thin onion rings), and Smash Tots (rosemary, garlic, & olive oil). I could taste the seasoning on the burger patty. Although the burger was good, I couldn’t really identify what their signature sauce tasted like. Food was fresh & tasty.

Went on a Tuesday evening and while the service was great, the quality of the burgers were not on par with the price. I had the avocado bacon club burger but there was no avacado and the bacon was rubbery. The chicken tenders were GREAT and seasoned well. The $7 oreo milk shake was also decent. The fries were really skinny – maybe that’s their signature thing and just average in quality and taste. Unfortuantely, the staff spent more time talking in the kitchen than making sure all of the tables were clean. Overall, just average.

The burgers and fries are always good and so is the service. Today one employee left such a refreshing impression that I wanted to thank him. His name is Barry at the S. Tampa location. He was so nice (best word I can think of) when we received a burger that had a condiment on it that we haven’t ordered. He went above and beyond to make it right and I wanted to thank him again for being so courteous! It made my day to see that there were still customer service oriented employees still out there. Smashburger execs, you need to move him to management and have him train new hires.

They had a few good options to choose from. I pre-ordered my meal, it was ready when I walked in. The burger was good, the fries and Oreo shake was great. I’d go back and try something different. I did subtract a start because they need to wipe down the outside tables.

This burger place slaps! I’ve been coming here for months and Jordan is always killing it ensuring everyone’s needs are met. The cooks have consistently made a delicious burger everytime I’m here. The smash fries and tots are always on point. And being a rewards member constantly gives me several dollars off of orders. Better than burgerfi and five guys imo. Don’t be afraid of trying something new here. Can’t recommend enough!
