My husband wanted Chinese food very bad. He was going some place else and they were not open. I told him stop at this one. Well he loves it. The lady inside was fantastic and quite helpful. You can’t eat in but as we were waiting for his food to be done. Out walks the lady with his food. She delivered it right to the car. He’s very impressed. It’s definitely a place to try because it’s close and the food was good and service awesome. Thank you!!

Hot and tasty food. Friendly carry out service. My sister says the szechuan shrimp is the best she has ever ever had. I enjoyed the chicken and mixed vegetables. We would definitely get food from here again if we end up back in the area.

Hunan Garden isn’t the best I’ve ever had to be honest. Their chicken fingers tasted overcooked & were hard to chew. The lo mein however was decent, but underwhelming. They do offer delivery, so that’s convenient for customers & they did arrive around the time they gave me for an estimate. Driver was friendly. I’m not in a rush to order from here again, but might consider it. Sometimes they also don’t answer calls during normal business hours, which can be frustrating when you’re trying to order for yourself or your family.

I placed a take out order at 6:49 PM today…small order, two meals…and was told it would be ready in 35 minutes. As I write this review it is now 8:05. My wife has been waiting for, ironically, 35 minutes, and still has not received her food. They no longer do dine in so people are herded like sheep into a crowded entry way. She waited in a room full of people who had waited over an hour. One person waited so long his car battery died. This is not a joke. We had a similar issue years ago from the same establishment. At that time it was called “Lin’s Garden”. We were fools to assume the management had changed. Clearly they renamed the place to escape previous bad reviews. This is incompetently managed, incapable of handling the crowd of a town of 5000, and you will wait 90 minutes for your order. There is plenty of decent Chinese in Palmer and East Brookfield. Order from them, you’ll get your food sooner.
