Here to ski, hike or drive through the state? This is THE pitstop. Can’t wait to go back. Their steak n cheese hot Sandwiches are the main event. Great comfort food. The general store is ok, small, but has everything from snacks to braided rope. The lighting could be brighter but not a big deal. Been going there for 5 years every summer.

We ordered the pastrami on rye, rare roast beef x2, & the greatest grilled cheese of all time. Very family friendly, highly recommend & we will definitely be back. They even have the Foster oil cans.

So I definitely had to share my review at this deli. THE MAN working behind the deli counter was very friendly and made GREAT sandwiches. It was an A++. The owner of the store who runs the cash register who has grey hair with glasses is rude and bad-mannered. Too bad she is the owner I mean if you are that unhappy in life sell it to someone who will take pride in their business because you don’t. It’s clear you have NO understanding of the importance of customer service in the hospitality industry. SHAME ON YOU!

EPIC pizza- super tasty, big portions. The guy working the deli/breakfast/pizza counter was super nice and made us some delicious pizza (crust was so good and cripsy) and sandwiches. But the lady working the checkout counter was unpleasant. They have every snack and grocery item I could imagine you could need. I only wish I’d been able to visit the next morning for breakfast!

Not exactly the most welcoming store. Pricey. Deli was a little sparse. Small dining area but can’t wash your hands because there is ‘NO BATHROOM”. Just keep going and find another place.

Absolute BS
So I went in to get snacks before my stay at the Omni hotel. The first lady I met was super nice when I asked her if there were any restaurants near by but there wasn’t she suggest i get a sandwich at the deli. There was a lady who worked there with long white hair and glasses that was super rude! She asked me for my slip for the 2 steak and cheeses i ordered and i told her what i ordered and raised her voice and said “I need the slips” (thankfully they were under the sandwiches) when I gave her it she litterly says “Well lets see if this works!” while swipping my creditcard suggesting my card wasn’t going to work! I was mad but didn’t say anything. If you are going to buy from there, avoid her like the pleague and talk to the nice lady behind the counter without glasses, and you will be fine.

Just like many of the other reviews in here, I’m going to leave my obligitory one-star for this establishment solely because of the woman working the register when you first walk in. We were not greeted, in fact… I greeted her! Not friendly here at all, not to mention I was sassed about a five dollar minimum on card purchases. There are signs saying “No public restroom”, which is absolutely their right and I didn’t walk in expecting to be able to use it, but I thought if I purchased something I would just be polite and ask. Was met with several rude responses about there being signs on the door. There was also a sign on the door saying “be kind to those who showed up to work”, right next to the “help wanted” sign. No wonder they are short staffed if this is the person they have to work with on a daily basis. Not worth stopping here if this is how they treat customers.
