Great BBQ! My husband and I came on a Saturday afternoon and there was only a few other couples seated inside at the time. However, when we got to the counter to order we could see they were making several to-go call in orders – they were busy bees! The staff at the register were friendly and the restaurant was spotless. They charge a 3% fee if you pay with a card so I would bring cash if you can. Our order came out quickly and the portion sizes are huge! My pulled pork sandwich was superb and the mac and cheese was great. My husband’s sandwich had pulled pork, hot links and brisket. Unfortunately, his piece of brisket was tough and chewy. The flavor was okay, but it just wasn’t a good piece. The hot links were the best part! I tried some of his and wished I had gotten some. Spicy and scrumptious! Each table has 3 of their BBQ sauces. At first we didn’t notice all the different sauces because they are not labeled and they are in ketchup and mustard bottles. So if you’re reading this now you know. The Big J sandwich was excellent and the hot link was one of the best I’ve ever had. The place was nice and clean and the staff were great but there was an issue with my experience. The restaurant has a fly problem, I was constantly having to shoo flys away while eating, not once or twice, constantly, there were some gnats buzzing around too. Yes I would eat this food again but I would get it to go.

We came in with a huge group and the service was super fast the people were super nice, the owner was so kind as to close down the restaurant and brought in extra seating so we could all eat. The food was even better than the price. I highly recommend!

Good service and the food came out pretty quickly. I got the loaded spud with brisket and I’d highly recommend it. The layout’s a little confusing if you’re visiting for the first time and they’re a few places you need to watch your step but overall laid back and rustic atmosphere.

This is not BBQ with any quality. We ordered a full rack of ribs. We got the equivalent of a half rack. We ordered two sides; baked beans and sweet potato casserole. The beans were thick so I didn’t even try them. The sweet potatoes were so overwhelmed with ginger, clove, salt, brown sugar, cinnamon, and marshmallows and I took a bite and needed to spit it out, but swallowed it and nearly vomited. The table was greasy and so was the sauce containers. We spent $50 there and it’s my husbands birthday and he wasn’t impressed. We were there maybe 10 minutes and just left it all sitting on the table and left. Not a place we will ever go back to.

EXCELLENT BBQ. But the atmosphere and service were what was special. Try the cobbler!! I had pulled pork and pulled chicken and both were so tender, and full of Smokey flavor. If you’re near Pittsburg, KS—this is where you need to have dinner!

Excellent food at a fair price we ordered the full rack ribs and for once a place did not cook the ribs to death. They were juicy, meaty, pulled off the bone, but were not dried out!

Food was great. The deviled egg potato salad had great taste and tasted like it was made with love, so creamy. Try the yellow bottle sauce, it’s apple habanero. It’s not hot at all, it’s sweet with a flavor of Chilli.
