Came here for Sunday of the holiday weekend. Great atmosphere and awesome service. There were two bartenders, both super friendly. The guy bartender was dressed in an awesome 4th costume, and made us the BEST rocket fuels. I would come again just for him. He made our experience amazing and was not only friendly but very accommodating. Come here!!!

One of the rudest bartenders I’ve ever came across in my life. Screamed at us for not “ordering quickly enough.” The bartender was a guy, didn’t get the name but was the worse service I’ve ever gotten on fire island or anywhere else. Very disappointing because as a bartender myself I typically super understanding.

CJ’s was a great time. Good live music, staff was very friendly and attentive and food and drinks were excellent. I got the wings and was happily surprised with how fresh and tastey they were! Rocket fuels were also probably the best i had on the strip, many of the others were way too sweet with amaretto.

This was a fun little bar. The bar tender was great, she recommended drinks and took requests for music. The crowd was in a good mood and dancing all evening even though it was pouring outside. I would live to try thier food sometime but we ate before going out.

If you’re on Fire Island and over 21, make this a stop. And order the Rocket Fuel. Great starting/ending point for a day trip, or meetup for friends gathering on the island.

Fantastic music, great interior. The bartending is rude which ruins the experience. Stopped in for a quick drink before our ferry back. Greeted with a less than happy face, asked for a 7&7 …which any bartender should know. She didnt. I said it is segram’s 7 and 7-up. She said they dont have that…as i’m staring at the bottle on the shelf above the bar. Wanting to avoid anything i say ok jameson and 7 please. She is again confused. I clarify that sprite or any lemon lime soda is fine. My friends order the same as they dont have tap beers available at the moment. No biggie there. I ask to cash out right away since we are not saying. She grabs the bill and cash, no thank you, no conversation what so ever. I still left a good tip bc put good into the universe get it back, she puts the 8$ tip on my 30$ check back on the bar and walks away. Again, no thank you, no nothing. So, great place, great location, hopefully they have other bartenders that are better

went to CEE Jay’s last week,I was surprised by the menu change! The new Menu was very refreshing.I had the Fish sandwich,and my husband had the steak Dip,we shared them both I can say that both sandwiches was very delicious, and the Kimchi was delicious,my family and I will be returning again.

I have visited this place on the 4th of July for many years and I always have a great time. The bartenders have always been friendly, they played good music, and the ambiance was great. Today there was a different staff. A few friends of mine were requesting some songs to be played and the bartender said each song request was $5. She put the money in her pocket, played the song for 20 seconds, skipped it and when asked about it she said “if you don’t like it, go somewhere else.” Probably won’t be visiting this place ever again.
