Wow!! My boyfriend and I have lived in Iowa City for about a year and never got to try Burger Haul until today. Our expectations were completely beat and the food was terrific. I had the Magic Shroom Burger and the mushrooms were SO flavorful. Burger was cooked perfectly. My boyfriend had their maid-rite and he loved it. The favorite dish of the night was the Nacho Fries, they were served with ample toppings and the fries remained crispy and fresh even with the cheese sauce over them. Our server was so sweet and attentive! We will be coming back for sure. If you are in the Iowa City area and are looking for a laid-back burger joint with with a great atmosphere and food, come here!

Our visit at Burger Haul was fantastic! The food was excellent. I got the traditional breakfast with a side pancake and Mimosa. I will be coming back to this restaurant on my next visit to Iowa. Our server was Faith. She was the sweetest waitress I’ve ever met. Keep on being cool Faith! The owners of the restaurant even came out and greeted us. Very cool!

The service was fantastic. I never had a problem with water refills which is a big deal to me. The food was good but not superb. I think they can really stand out if they had a special sauce for the sandwiches.

My girlfriend myself and dog were passing through on our way to Chicago from Denver and found this little Chem. The food was amazing but the service was even more amazing from our server to the owner and cook everyone was so nice and caring. They even brought out a little treat for our dog. Definitely a must stop if you are in the area or just passing through. You won’t be disappointed I promise.

Burger Haul is absolutely delicious! Most food is made in house. I have been there for lunch, dinner and breakfast and never been disappointed! I had the vegetarian mushroom sandwich and delicious sweet potato fries!! Service is also great.

Got a bomb burger and how’s favorite (maidrite) for lunch. Good onion rings. Burger was right on big patty and stack of onion rings. At the end Joe himself came around and checked on us. Cool dude. I’ll be coming back.

My first time here and I got the breakfast burger with fries to-go. It was soooo delicious, and the fries were some of the best I’ve had. It traveled really well with syrup/sauce on side which I was very happy about when getting home.
