Stopped in for a late breakfast, was pleasantly surprised to find beer available. Italian cuisine is the menu here, mostly being sandwiches and soups. They also have coffee and the regular choice of cold drinks. This is a nice spot to kill an hour, not thinking about anything but where you are and the food you’re eating. Come here to slow down a bit.

Relaxed authentic feeling atmosphere. I had the Il Diavola sandwich. Crispy and light grilled focaccia bread and a mixture of meats that all compliment each other. There is a light spice and burst of heat that is cooled by the fresh mozzarella cheese. I look forward to trying more of their delicious menu items!

BEST SANDWICH IN ANCHORAGE!!!! We are OBSESSED with this spot. It’s tucked away but so cute on the inside. The staff are all so kind and always make us feel welcome. I could eat lunch here every day!

What a wonderful spot!! I literally think about the sandwiches from this place a few times a week. They are so, so good!! Served on homemade focaccia bread with incredible house seasoning (that you can also buy in jars to take home) you can opt for hot/grilled sandwiches or your traditional cold sandwiches.

Some of the most delicious pizza we have ever tasted! And the funky dust is so flavorful. I highly recommend Originale. Super authentic! A MUST try!!

Ordered a muffuletta at this place. Being a native New Orleans, the home of the muffuletta, i took a gamble. It did not pay off. It was horrible. They used the wrong bread which was supposed to be a round sesame Italian bread NOT soft Focaccia bread like they used. They used the wrong meats and cheese. The olive salad was horrible. Olive salad is the heart of the muffuletta and it should be piled on too. This was a mess of a sandwich.

Amazing food! Ingredients are fresh and well prepared. The Nonni was phenomenal. I am never disappointed when choosing this spot for lunch.

I haven’t had a bad sandwich from them. The funky dust is delicious, we brought home a container and we went through it so fast! The desserts are delicious and the mocha was divine. But absolutely mouthwatering sandwich. I love stopping by on the way to the airport and eating a sandwich there and grabbing one to go for my trip!

I always get whatever the special sandwich is but if I have the chance I grab one those amazing pinsas. The toppings always change but the crust is the best part. Only place in anchorage to get bresaola too. Make sure to check out their cold case for cured meats cheeses and butter and theyve got beer and wine now too!
