When people think about hot dogs they think ball park food… I think it’s a genius delivery system for food transportation. Charlie has got it figured out. I was impressed with the flavor. their is so many different choices that I couldn’t possibly try them all in one visit. For those reasons I’ll be back. I need a bumper sticker charlie. Better hot dogs at Costco, lol. The hot dog was just pulled out of a water bath, not freshly grilled or even hot. Toppings were normal, but hot dog is small almost kid sized…definitely not worth $10. We only ate two bites and just tossed it away.

Great lunch spot with great food. If you are at, or close to, Epps Bridge Center, stop in here for hot dogs, sandwiches and sides. The Cook County (Chicago) dog was excellent, my wife had a simple dog with mustard and cheese. The baked beans, with shredded pork in it, and the banana pudding, not too sweet, were the best I have had. Very nice service and atmosphere and they use metal flatware. I hidden treasure. Limited outdoor seating for those nice days. Prices were very reasonable and the food quality excellent.

The food had no flavor. The hot dog are poor quality (look and taste like large Vienna sausages) and came out lukewarm. Tiny bag of chips. Took one bite and threw out the rest. This franchise needs to up its game. Hot dogs are meant to be grilled over an open flame.

Charlie Graingers is a MUST if you’re visiting Athens. They easily have the best brisket in the area that they slow cook for 14-16 hours. They have so many options for brisket sandwiches and hotdogs that you’ll have to come back to try the rest! Their sides are yummy and their customer service is supreme. 100% recommend trying this spot!
