We have heard many good things about Sals and decided to try it. All of the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. We did not have to wait on any refills and the food came out fairly quickly. The food however was not worth the price. $16 for a lasagna that was nothing but a small dish of sauce and cheese and maybe one lasagna noodle inside was very disappointing. My spouse ordered a calzone with just cheese and pepperoni. His portion was very large but the calzone consisted of mostly cheese and bread, there was very little pepperoni inside as you can see all of the cheese in a pile came from one cut slice of the calzone. The mozzarella sticks we ordered as the appetizer were the best part of the meal. We ate as much as we could as we had not eaten anything all day and were very hungry and didn’t want to have to send anything back. I hope to have a better experience in the future should we decide to try them again

Normally I’m a fan of Sal’s pizza but lately it’s been more 50/50. Tonight was the worst I’ve seen it. My order on takeout was a medium supreme cooked well done. Came to $24. This is what I came home to. A misshaped pizza crushed into the box was the first thing. Second is the fact that well done should be a crispier crust and undercarriage. It wasn’t. For the price you charge this seriously needs to get better.

I will start with the highlight which was the delicious calzone. By far the best thing we ate and yes I would get it again and again. Nothing special about the mozzarella sticks but kids like them. The cheesy bread was out right horrible. When you would bite into it the cheese all came off. It was as if the bread was fully cooked, sat around and then they tried to melt cheese on it. It was the same bread that came with the eggplant parm. Which was good and light. Lastly the pizza was average and I was really hoping it was great. Sauce was yummy and cheese excellent but I felt the dough was very gummy and not chewy like the pizza from nj/ny that I grew up with.

Average environment but the appetizers were cold the pizza was cold and overpriced. The garlic knots were just so doughy with Parmesan sprinkled on top, very hard to eat. The jalapeño poppers were cold and obviously frozen. I’m taking our left over pizza home to throw into the toaster oven so it’ll actually be edible. Jalapeño poppers and garlic knots and two pizzas and our check was over 70 dollars. Will not eat here again.

This pizza place is great for a nice cheap bite. Everyone was so nice and the pizza was really good. I spent about 45 minutes there and had one slice of cheese pizza. I liked my time here and I recommend that people come to this restaurant.

I ordered on postmates and even by the time my food was delivered to my house, everything was amazing! I normally skip the added salads (from previous bad ones) but even their dressing is good! As a major italian food lover, this place passed the vibe check! I ordered the ziti and jalapeño poppers and it came with a piece of bread and salad. I will 1000% be ordering again!
