Food was awesome once we got it home, but that’s just the half of it. For what may look like an unassuming building from the outside quickly transports you right to the beach. It’s a cool little place that looks and feels like you are oceanside. Pair that with the fact they have everything you could need to enjoy the food, from the table paper to the mallets, it is your one-stop-shop for an at-home crab party! We will be back.

Got a bushel of #2s, a few pounds of shrimp, and 2 dozen of the crabby deviled eggs. The eggs lasted minutes, delicious. The crabs were A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! I don’t mean amazing for Pennsylvania, or Berks, whatever. They were some of the best we’ve ever had, hands down. Next year’s neighborhood crab feast will definitely feature these guys again!

Best blue crabs I’ve had in the area. The crab dip is amazing – light and flavorful, and the deviled eggs are definitely worth stopping in for. Excited to try the soups next time.

I thought I was on the beach in Maryland, it was that good. If i could rate this place a billion I would. If you haven’t been there yet, you’re just not making the most of living in Berks County. Give these guys some medals.

First time here and left 100% satisfied. The guy at the counter, Nate, answered all of our questions, and guided us thru the crab menu with a smile and patience. The crabs look fantastic. Our crabs were delivered to us outside immediately after they were cooked. Go to this place!

Been here a few times now! Every time we are greeted by several very nice employees! We were even given a tour of the shop to show how the crab are divided and steamed! Excellent oysters, and little neck clams, as well as a variety of deli style homemade salads! Paul, the owner, may come across as rough, but he’s as nice and honest as they get! Will definitely continue coming back!

My uncle was head.pilot for the Chesapeake so I grew up on blues. I remember picking all day with constantly refreshed piles of crab dumped in the center of the table. Paul brings back those memories every time with some of the best blues I’ve ever had!!! Large, heavy, and steamed to perfection. He never disappoints. Thanks again, Paul. They were delicious!!!
