I was there on April 27 2023 in early afternoon and the young man that was cashier was a good guy. I was using my credit card but remembered the code incorrectly so my card was declined. After twice I asked if I could run out to get cash from my car. He was so polite, held my place in line and never made me feel silly or foolish for having held the line up as there were five people behind me. I wish I had gotten his name but I was embarrassed, but not because of anything he did. I don’t know who he was but thank you.

Stopped to get pizza and a raspberry flip for lunch, after grabbing what I thought was beef pizza (marked with a B this was at 1:15 PM) went to check out. After waiting for a bit I tried to get the attention of the gal making food. Asking if anyone is working the register she couldn’t hear real well with the radio playing loud, but I hear a voice saying “working as fast as I can”. No biggie til Steven the manager comes over to check me out. I could tell I was interrupting him as he was wearing a parka and stocking hat and attitude. Coolers must be colder than I remember as a young adult working at a convenience store. As I set my pizza on the counter I notice a dirty cleaning bucket and towel on the counter, made a comment to Steven about the appearance of that, but he put my mind at ease because it was full of disinfectant. (Steven wipe the bucket down that was probably just on the bathroom floor or better yet don’t put it on the counter) I set my cash on the counter which took awhile for him to see (sunglasses were a little to dark) and he seemed put out that I was paying in cash. His comment “ that’s how your going to pay?” I said yep, not what I really wanted to tell him and left. Whatever I thought drove off took a bite of my beef pizza only to realize it was a Bacon pizza from the morning. 1:15 PM 4-19-2022

Every Casey’s is great. They have cheap gas. I love how they partner with HyVee for even cheaper gas. I always feel safe at their pumps even late at night. They have good snacks ranging from sweet to salty to savoury. I cant forget the pizza. Personally not a big a fan of the pizza but that is just me. I know lots of people that absolutely love their pizza. I think it’s the sauce. I love the sandwich station and wrap station. I always walk away happy from there and very full. Love the soda fountain and sometimes the ice cream machine. My fiance likes the lotto tickets there as well. Cant got wrong. Very good place no matter where it is.

Any time I’ve stopped in, staff has been rude or distracted with each other or their phones. They’ve also messed up my orders multiple times.

Have changed your crust recipe or just made the dough balls smaller so they have to stretch it farther because the crust has changed. It’s so thin now! We have tried 3 different caseys now and they are all the same. Will be going elsewhere for pizza from now on.
