Had to wait 20 minutes for my coffee. They never mentioned to me that thru ran out of an item and had to send another girl to get it. Once I finally received my drink they didn’t apologize for the wait or offer a refund. Worst customer service experience!

I’m a college professor who has always lived in bigger cities, so I was really thankful when accepting a job at Truman that there is a Starbucks here in Kirksville. The service hasn’t disappointed (5/5). The baristas are so friendly and well-trained. That being said, the conditions behind the counter are deplorable (1/5). There is constant standing water on the floor. A few weeks ago, I noticed a cockroach on the tiles behind the back counter. I hoped it was just a fluke, but sure enough, I saw another cockroach today near the pitchers of tea and coffee. Especially with the amount of customers that Starbucks brings in, I would really like to see Hy-Vee make some long overdue structural improvements.

Good drinks but the girls are there to work, not to chat when theres a line of people. I stood there and watched one girl hold my drink in her hand for quite some time because she was chatting. She finally realized she had a finished drink in her hands. If it’s dead and ur chatting then great, but when there’s a nice line, pay attention.

It seems like some of the girls don’t care to be there. They don’t read the cups. Most of the time my order is wrong because they don’t look at all the writing on the cup. The couple times I’ve gone there with the guys working my orders are always accurate. The girls are always to busy talking or snacking.
