The food was very tasty, the waiters were friendly, our food came out super fast and well prepared, the place was clean and comfortable, just the drinks. My husband ordered a long island and it tasted like juice, but we are happy with what we opted for. I recommend pollo con crema, it is very good

Just tried this new restaurant and am pleased to say that the food was very good and the service was excellent. They have some options that I haven’t seen on most Mexican restaurant menus. My girlfriend had a Hawaiian chicken quesadilla, and it was large enough for two people. My husband said his chicken burrito was very good. I ordered the taquitos, and I’d never seen them prepared as they are in the picture. They were quite good. I liked that each person got their own dish for salsa. I’m not sure if they were having air conditioning issues, but it was much too warm. The interior was nicely done and appeared clean. There seems to be plenty of parking. I recommend giving them a try.

My food was plentiful and delicious. The grilled beef Chimichanga was prepared excellently. The beef Quesadilla was good, too. So far, I was very pleased. Hope they keep it up.

Welcome to Edenton! First time at this new restaurant. Food was plentiful and delicious. The french fries were terrific! It was very clean. The decor was very bright! I like that each person got their own salsa dish. Our server was friendly and funny. We will be going back soon!

No hello welcome or nothing just asked “just two”? Got to the table. Chips n salsa was good. Ordered lunch. Waited 20 minutes only to be told she forgot to hand the order to the kitchen. Waited 15 minutes and she brought the food. Mine was the steak n cheese burrito. Meat was dry. The other lunch was the taco salad bowl. Came out soupy as they did not drain the meat or dry the lettuce. Just a greasy soupy mess. Sent it back and left

This is a very new restaurant, and I’m happy to hopefully leave the first review. First of all, the outside is quaint and does not overdo the signage. We were greeted immediately after entering the door. The decor was perfect. It provides for a great ambiance and cultural feel. The food is next. It was terrific. It arrived hot and had amazing flavor. I had the tacos al pastor, and they didn’t disappoint. The spicy salsa was the best touch. So comparing to Mamasitas, I would visit here again soon. Mamasitas seems to have grown too quickly and has forgotten their base. The only reason for the less than 5 star review was the service. Our waitress seemed bothered, had little personality, and did not check back as expected. She captured the order incorrectly, and the owner came to the rescue. I understand the workforce is limited in Edenton and surrounding areas, but this should be corrected soon. If not, there will be more unhappy customers. I’m personally very excited to have an alternative to Mamasitas and hope the best for this restaurant. They must, however, correct the wait staff issue. If I were to visit again and had the same waitress, I would walk out. All the other wait staff were so personal and friendly. Sad there is 1 bad seed.
