The best Italian place I’ve been to in New Jersey. It’s expensive but that’s to be expected for the quality of food they have and its mouth watering taste. My family has been here for the past 30 years and they have stayed true to the quality throughout. They have a great room for big parties and gatherings too which we used for many celebrations. The service is by far one of the best I’ve seen with the utmost attentiveness to you and your needs.

A little disappointing. Shrimp appetizer tasted bland. Octopus was delicious. Scallops would have used a bit more green of a green touch. The veal was dry and tasteless. Arctic char was not seasoned well and a bit raw. Desert was decent. Beer was served in a wine glass?! Ambiance was lacking felt and sounded like a mall foot court. We expected more.

Any negative review of this restaurant is from someone who knows absolutely nothing about food. Period. I dine out a lot and very much enjoy a variety of cuisines but I find myself repeatedly going back. Nothing in this entire area even compares. Service…food…wine…cocktails. It’s honestly as close to perfect as a human could possibly get. Their seafood is incredibly fresh, pasta is cooked Al dente and served at a perfect temperature for it to cook off over the first few minutes on the table. The thoughtfulness put into every dish (and I’ve had almost all of them) is really unbelievable. I can’t say enough about this restaurant! Best in NJ!

First time here for a family dinner with my husband and son. We truly enjoyed it. Jesus was our waiter and he was amazing, kind and personable. He made great recommendations on entrées and desserts. He has been with the restaurant for 20+ years and is knowledgeable on the menu. I had the Manzo, seared filet mignon with wild mushrooms & red wine reduction. It was cooked perfectly and tender. My son ordered the Gondolas, delicious. We ordered a bottle of Duckhorn (Merlot), one of my favorites. For dessert we enjoyed the House-made Mango sorbet (personally favorite if you want a refreshing dessert), Warm Valrhona Chocolate Cake

The waiters were excellent. They were very attentive. I enjoyed their Antipasto and Ravioli. Even though I dont usually eat it these two dishes, I was pleasantly surprised.

My family has been guests at Da Benito for years. The food is consistently superior. The vibe is NYC. However, the true differentiator is Benito’s family! You are greeted at every meal like family! I recently had my best friend in from the Midwest. He had never been to any place remotely like Da Benito. In fact, months after our gastronomic extravaganza, Nick Carpenter still brags to anyone in DFW who will listen.
