The food here is always good. I usually do the salmon choices or the special when I visit and never had a bad experience. My husband likes their sandwiches. The appetizer bread is warm and the butter pats are never frozen. My favorite desserts are the creme brulée and the icebox key lime pie but I feel confident you could pick any dessert and be happy.

I went to The Highlands Bar and Grill last night, and it was our second visit there. We had the same waiter last night and he’s so personable. I’m on a very restrictive diet and both the waiter and the executive chef collaborated to come up with a perfect shrimp salad. Everyone else had a delicious meal. The fish and chips are always fresh and amazing. The view is spectacular, especially with a lightning storm.

This place is walking distance to where we live and I wondered why we didn’t go often before. We’ve been back twice now in the last week and both experience were nice. Their food is definitely a lot better than the usual place we go to for drinks and food. Their wine list is a lot better. Have not tried their beer yet but will do next time we are there.
