About Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria
Considered the oldest family name in Chicago pizza, Lou Malnati’s is as rich in history as its pizza is in flavor.
Lou Malnati got his start in the 1940’s working in Chicago’s first deep dish pizzeria. He took his pizza expertise to Lincolnwood, a northern suburb of Chicago, where he and his wife Jean opened the first Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria on March 17, 1971. Lou was known for his fun-loving character as well as making Chicago’s best pizza. Loyal patrons lined the streets on opening day for a taste of his delicious deep dish creations. Lou always thought it was funny that an Italian should open a pizzeria in a Jewish neighborhood on an Irish holiday.

Catch Twenty two
The pizza is very good, the last two times we ordered salads they were not great. The mushrooms on the last salad were definitely not fresh so we took them off. Tonight we ordered a spinach salad and didn’t eat it because the spinach was disgusting.

Customer Service on point. Huge portions. Great music while waiting for your order. And chilled enough to cool from the heat

Sauce didn’t have much flavor. Crust was doughy and sauce leaked through the box. Barely gave us napkins when told employee it leaked through the box.

They have great deepdish and thin crust pizza here. This location is only for pickup i wish they could of have a sitdown location on the side of town. The place is clean and the staff are friendly. The big issue is the prices of these pizzas keep going up. I paid around 38$ for a large deepdish last time I was there. I will only eat here a few times a year now.

Just ordered and ate their classic Chicago deep dish pizza and it was awesome! Super fresh ingredients and hot! It served the 4 of us 2 complete meals. It definitely was well worth the $38 dollars. We will definitely be eating here again soon❤️

I paid around $38 for a small deep dish and Tiramsu. The pizza had zero taste. It was hard as cardboard. Cheese was not melted. It was one of the worst pizza, I have ever tasted. I ate less than 1 piece and the rest went into the garbage. The Tiramsu was way overpriced for the tiny piece you get.

Lou Malnati’s has the BEST pizza, IMO. They are from Illinois, so happy they came to AZ and they deliver! Not salty, buttery crust, thin, stuffed, deep dish are all the BEST.

Me and my sister got a pizza from this location today and it was beyond awful. Every time we get from this location, we order our pizza well done and it’s soggy every time. We called to speak to a manager and they gave us a hard time and the manager couldn’t seem to understand that every time we order it’s awful and soggy. She tried to say next time get it well done and we told her we did. The manager was very disrespectful and even hung up on us. Which this isn’t the first time we’ve gotten bad service too. Never ordering from this place again, which is disappointing considering I’ve eaten Lou Mal all my life.

Ordered a Gluten free deep dish pizza and a regular deep dish pizza. Gluten free was so hard that it was like sawing a piece of wood. Regular had no flavor, thr crust was paper thin in the sides and hard. The Italian sausage was rubber. We ordered extra cheese which does cost extra and if we didn’t order it there probably wouldn’t have any. Vito’s pizza or Rosattis is 1000 times better. Too bad Giordanos closed. I usually do not leave long reviews or negative but $70 for two pizzas I think it is warranted. Nothing like the pizza you get in Chicago from them.
