Phenomenal place! Though the sitting area is small for large groups, going on a date today with my fiance here was one for the books. The food is delicious! ( I recommend the King ranch casserole and their $9 chicken fried steak). The atmosphere felt “South Texas ” so we didn’t feel uncomfortable at all. Our waitress was tentative and polite as well. I would recommend any visitor to swing by this place for good eats

It was very good. The chicken fried steak, was soft and bigger than I thought it would of been and it was only half. My mom enjoyed her enchiladas as well. Definitely will go again to try the king ranch casserole

Terrible svc. Terrible atmosphere, staff cussing, food was salty mac cheese burnt, I can go on & on first time going there I will not be returning. Bathroom could of used some cleaning…. For the money I dropped there on the food svc should been alot better. *Pic is of one item*,

Overall our experience was very good! The food was brought out surprisingly quickly, the staff went the extra mile countless times and the environment was pleasant! The food was great and the prices were very good! The business also supports local students and military families which is something that you don’t see as often nowadays. Not only we will be eating here again, but it may just be our new favorite spot in town.

The service is very good Ben and his co worker did an awesome job making us feel like the only customers there even though it was a full house and the food is just so close to moms cooking it not even funny. The price is fair for the humongous portion served. We had a chicken fried chicken with two sides and a burger with cheese bacon and avocado cooked as ordered juicy fresh,hot, tea is also good. Five star rating for that SOUTH TEXAS HOLE IN THE WALL. We are hooked.

I don’t know if any place truly deserves 5 stars, but I have to give them anyway. This is a great place for good food and good prices. I usually eat the pepper steak because when I find something I like, I stick with it, but on Thursdays(I hope I got the day right) they have a turkey plate that I barely finished. It was piled high with turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, green beans and I think there was corn, also cranberry sauce if you’re into that stuff.
