Americanized chinese food. Dated restaurant could use a good cleaning. Service was prompt and efficient. Rice was well cooked. Get the brown sauce. I ordered a vegetable dish and it was full of raw broccoli My hot tea was tepid. The beef satay was tasty. I am told the buffet on Sunday is good, although I don’t see how. Parking in front.

Ordered some egg rolls last week. The first order was dripping grease/oil. The bag had half an inch of oil in it. We called and requested a new order. They obliged and we went back to pick them up. Took a bite of the first one and bit into asphalt. Luckily, it didn’t damage any teeth. Called back and my husband was laughed at when we told them there was asphalt/rocks in our food. They told us if we brought them back (a third trip) they would refund it. My husband brought them back and there was very little apologies made. We will absolutely not be back. Have shared this experience on Yelp (where I am an elite) as well as with friends and family members. Horrible. Was told to report to the Health inspector, which is my next step.

I used to love China Garden. I typically ate there about once a week because the lunch specials were so good. Honestly I’ve never liked the service, it’s always been bad, but the food was always so good. I can’t really say how the service is now because I’ve only gone inside once and used Door Dash the other time, but since getting new owners this restaurant has really gone downhill. The prices have skyrocketed, the food isn’t nearly as good, and you get less food than you used to. I wanted some honey beef from their dinner menu, but noticed it’s $23. That’s insane! I’ve been to much nicer Chinese restaurants with a lot lower prices. I know that prices have to change over time and I have no problem with that, but $23? I just can’t justify that. I feel like customers are being taken advantage of with those kind of prices. When I get a craving for Chinese food from now on I believe I’ll drive as extra 15 minutes to Red Flower in Big Stone Gap.

China Garden Has Great Food, The owner is super sweet and nice. As for the short chunky waitress not sure of her name She is very rude, and almost made me turn around and eat elsewhere. The other waitress was sweet and helpful. Whoever that rude person thinks she is she needs to re-evaluated How she speaks and treats the customers. Thank you China garden for the delicious food and hopefully this person can learn to Treat others with kindness and respect including the people she works for.

Wow. This place is totally worth the money. The food here is excellent! I was totally shocked and impressed how good this place is. Never judge a restaurant by its front door. Not gonna lie, I thought I was gonna be disappointed like I was when I ate another local Chinese restaurant here. They take pride in the taste and presentation of their meals and they were awesome. Its hard to find a Chinese restaurant thats not a buffet and shares the real culture in their food. These guys and gals totally nailed it. I an so happy I gave them a try and even more happy that I live close by.
